Guest Trivia247 Posted July 13, 2002 Report Posted July 13, 2002 we know the winners of the Tag team titles... What about those unsung Tag teams, that never got the belts but were solid tag teams when they were around, or at least they were memorable.. WWF High Energy Killer Bees Fabulous Rougeus Brothers New Dream Team Well Dunn Powers of Pain Bushwhackers Can Am Connection Orton & Piper Supply n Demand T & A King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd Young Stallions Power & Glory WCW Disorderly Conduct Vicious & Delicious Dynamic Dudes Faces of Fear you happen to remember any add some names
Guest kingkamala Posted July 13, 2002 Report Posted July 13, 2002 For WCW High Voltage, I use to love there theme music ( DANGER! HIGH VOlTAGE) and The American Males, great theme music too and Lenny and Lodi who for some odd reason I liked better then Billy and Chuck. Also don't forget for WWF The Heavenly Bodies and the short lived team of Kamala and Sika(Who for some reason had a feud with the Young Stallions), I'd also like to remind you of DOA. You know in ECW there weren't a lot of low card whipping boys, especially in the last year when they gave the belts to everyone.
Guest papacita Posted July 13, 2002 Report Posted July 13, 2002 Don't forget the Allied Powers! TAG TEAM OF 95... And Techno Team 2000! Remember them?! They had a pog!
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 13, 2002 Report Posted July 13, 2002 I think T&A were progressing quite well till they split. And it still amazes me how bad Lo Down got as soon as they put them with tiger. Saturn and D Lo teamed on a few heats, i think that could have been good.
Guest TheBlurricane Posted July 14, 2002 Report Posted July 14, 2002 Call me crazy but I liked the team of Lance Storm and The Hurricane. as far as older teams... High Voltage Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart Doug Furnas & Phil LaFon (I think they might have won the ECW titles though...not sure) The Armstrongs (from wcw '95) damn that curse
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 14, 2002 Report Posted July 14, 2002 storm and hurricane were another perfectly acceptable team with fine chemistry that the wwe just abandoned, yeah.
Guest papacita Posted July 14, 2002 Report Posted July 14, 2002 Well depending on who you ask, you could add the Rockers to this list, because of the Phantom Title reign. As for T&A, I still don't understand how Bull and Godfather got the Tag Titles before them.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 14, 2002 Report Posted July 14, 2002 there was a generic lower card masked heel team called the shadows at one point, just black conquistadors, and one of them was a conquistador i believe. They were okay. The young stallions sucked ass, but in one match i saw one of em did an amazing sunset flip off the top rope to the opponent who was standing in the ring. never seen that before.
Guest TheBlurricane Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I MARK OUT FOR A CERTAIN RINGED PLANET WHICH WILL REMAIN NAMELESS Uranus???? sorry I just had to say that
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 "Flyin" Brian Pillman and "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk, before Ole Anderson completely buried them.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Also, the Can-Am Connection. This was before Rick Martel was "The Model", and before he started to suck. He and Tom Zenk were a great team. Zenk was eventually replaced with Tito Santana, and the Can-Ams were a short lived team.

They were okay. The young stallions sucked ass, but in one match i saw one of em did an amazing sunset flip off the top rope to the opponent who was standing in the ring. never seen that before. the match you are referring to is on wwf high flyers from back in 1988. both of the shadows were quite large, so i highly doubt that one of the conquistadors was playing the role of a shadow too. paul roma hit the sunset flip from the top rope well over half way across the ring for the win in the match. i hadn't seen anything like that when i first got that tape too. ps, high flyers features both amazing teams of the shadows and the conquistadors. my favourite mid to low card tag teams were: wwf: the fabulous rougeau brothers the killer bees the islanders the dream team ecw: danny doring/roadkill simon/swinger the fbi
Guest razazteca Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Wild Eyed Southern Boys Tim Horn & Brad Armstrong Texas Hangmen = Disorderly Conduict with masks Los Fablousos = El Dandy & Silver King with Stacy Kiebler Owen Hart & Koko B Ware
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 No low-card tag team discussion is complete w/o mention of The State Patrol --- Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker and Lt. Somethinorother. Ahh, I forget. My brother and I used to refer to them as The Ninny Patrol.
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Los Fablousos = El Dandy & Silver King with Stacy Kiebler wasn't this just another sad attempt to get two unpopular wrestlers over by pairing them with a hot valet?
Guest Razor Roman Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 the Bushwhackers were great. They play the same role the Hardy Boyz play now... when a new tag team needs heat quick, they punk out the Hardyz, back then every heel teams first feud was with the 'Whackers. But you can't help but smile when you see them. Hell, my dad had rotator cuff surgery a few years ago and the first time I ever saw him lift his arm over his head since was when he did the Bushwhacker dance during Wrestlemanix X7 and the gimmick battle royal. And he's not even a wrestling fan.
Guest kingkamala Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 wasn't this just another sad attempt to get two unpopular wrestlers over by pairing them with a hot valet? Well sorta of but with El Dandy and Silver King wearing matching Power Ranger outfits what's not to like . Too bad WCW killed the team after a week or two .
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 I MARK OUT FOR A CERTAIN RINGED PLANET WHICH WILL REMAIN NAMELESS Uranus???? sorry I just had to say that well, congrats on being the first. I'm shocked it took this long.

I was glad when that team died a quick death actually. It was such a waste of Stacy Keibler.
Guest kingkamala Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 A waste of Stacy Keibler! She appeared in two or three backstage skits with them . She was never technically a manager for Los Fabulosos. Silver King and El Dandy are Latin America's most desireable men !
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 A waste of Stacy Keibler! She appeared in two or three backstage skits with them . She was never technically a manager for Los Fabulosos. Silver King and El Dandy are Latin America's most desireable men ! having stacy with silver king and el dandy and trying to pass them off as a legit tag team title contender was a waste of stacy's time because she was more over then those two would ever hope to be, combined.
Guest AxelSmash Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Koko B. Ware....Champion.........AAAAAH!!!
Guest Human Fly Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 I was always a fan of Jim Powers for some reason. I always thought they could have used him for something. As far as WCW goes, Vicious and Delicious was the best thing Buff Bagwell was ever a part of. He always cracked me up with his mic work, and they had built Norton up as a monster.
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 i always thought the young stallions could have received a better push. they never really teamed up for anything bigger than a survivor series match.
Guest kingkamala Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Anyone mention Head Cheese I remember they were an attempt to get Steve Blackmen over via a comedy tag team and it didn't really work what a shock
Guest Singular Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 I used to like the Beverly Brothers in the early 90's WWF. Rythem and Blues were always good for a laugh.
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 i loved the beverly brothers music back in the day. i don't know what it was about it but the tunes ruled.
Guest gwf0704 Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 I dont remember if they were ever WWF champs but I used to mark out for the Orient Express.......
