Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted July 14, 2002 I've been with my girlfriend officially for 7 months, but we were "on again-off again" dating before that for about 5 months. She asked me out this past Dec., on my 21st birthday, and I've never been happier. She's the first girl I can say that I've truly been in love with.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted July 14, 2002 Single. Trying-to-get-with-one-of-my-Best-Friend's-that-i've-known since-the-beginning-of-time. I-wait-to-long-to-make-my-move.Everytime-I-finally-get-ready, she's-ends-up-with-someone. What-should-I-do? Any-Advice? Do you think that she is intersested in you? If so then play fighting with her is the easiiest way to make your move. It works best if you usually do that type of thing. It's how I ended up with the girl I'm seeing. I tell you how I pulled it off and if your situation is similar go that route. I've worked with this girl for over 3 years, but when she started she was only 14, which I deemed too young when I was 18, although I always thought she was cute. She has had a crush on me since she started working there. She's 17 now, which is ok by me, I'm only 21. We always flirted and what not, so last week I said something jokeingly she hit my shoulder, I grabbed her hand and pulled her in and kissed her. She was in shock because she never expected it. We've been out a few times and it's been great. If my situation is similar to your's then that's the best route. I did have an advantage knowing that she was already in love with me (that is not me bragging either, the girl really has had a crush on me for a long time). The only problem is that I hate relationships, let's face it bitches be trippin. We'll see how this one plays out. Good luck NBT.
Guest Jerome Drake Report post Posted July 14, 2002 NBT, I'm in the similar problem. It really sucks doesnt it? Everytime i imagine this girl with another guy, I get a great big pain in my tummy. It really sucks.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Single and hating it, but hey, I've been single for 18 years now, a couple more months/years can't hurt any more. I'm hoping to meet that special someone in college. In fact, I'm planning on it, since I don't have anything in my life planned out yet but I know I want to have kids (and hopefully a wife) before I hit 30. Mid-late 20's probably... why? I have no idea, but at least it's a goal. Not a very specific one, but other than that I have absolutely no goals or plans in life so ya gotta start somewhere, right? Right? Guest M Nyland Report post Posted July 15, 2002 and in college...you can act completely different from when you were in high school and if someone from your HS sees you they can be like "damn you've changed" and if they are a hot chick you can just move right up on that shit
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Hahaha... that's what I did in high school, acted different than in middle school. Of course I didn't have THAT effect, but maybe that's because the girl I pined after for 8th grade is a lesbian now, and according to some people because of me... assholes. Actually, what's really funny is I give a lot of people relationship advice, and it's really good too because I've pretty much done everything wrong over the years. I'm not sure if I should be honored that people look to me for advice on something, or if I should be insulted considering the circumstances
Guest M Nyland Report post Posted July 15, 2002 yeah....I mean...everyone looked at me as a geek in high school...but I am the "music god" in college because I try to follow everything... I am still a nerd...but my grades don't show that...actually my grades never really showed that...but when dealing with other college students you get overshadowed pretty quickly... ......and heck...my love for music did find me a chick... .....remember...Bob Marley is a God...ya dig? Guest EQ Report post Posted July 15, 2002 the girl I pined after for 8th grade is a lesbian now, and according to some people because of me... Wow... I'd mark out if a girl went lezzie b/c of me. =P
Guest EQ Report post Posted July 15, 2002 but when dealing with other college students you get overshadowed pretty quickly... Ain't that the truth. I got great grades in high school. Mid 90s... when I got to college, everyone was smarter than me and I was suddenly the dumb kid in all my classes. My grades went to hell, and now I'm just trying to graduate on time... Oh well

Guest godthedog Report post Posted July 15, 2002 right now i'm "with" my first girlfriend, it's kind of complicated. she lives in augusta (where i still technically live), i go to college and am only in augusta for the summer. anyway, we went out for a while last year, then broke it off. this summer i came back home and started hanging out with her again, and right now we're seeing each other but not officially going out (cause i'm just going back to college at the end of the summer anyway). Guest jtronx Report post Posted July 17, 2002 Kinetic - I feel for you. I hadn't had a girlfriend in almost four years and hadn't even gotten laid in almost three. The worst rut EVAR~!. Then I met my current girlfriend, and everything has been amazing since then. We met totally cute; I ran a trivia night at a bar and she was a contestant. 'Hey, there's a really cute redheaded girl at trivia.' Then the kicker: one of the questions was, 'Who is the current WWF champion?' (This to be answered by an assumedly non-wrestling-watching audience). She got it right (Jericho!), and the next time she played we struck up a conversation. That was four or five months ago and we've hung out probably 75% of the days since then. Life rocks. I have a gorgeous girlfriend who is smart and has a sick sense of humor, and she watches wrestling. (Although she still makes fun of me for it - until I bring up the Rock and Roll Express, and her prepubescent idolization thereof). Sorry if I'm pissing you off, I know this kind of stuff pissed me off when I was hurting, but... [JOURNEY]Someday, love will find you Break those chains that bind you[/JOURNEY] Cheers! P.S. I hate all that 'going with,' 'seeing each other,' 'dating' qualification crap so much.
