Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted July 13, 2002 Byte This Report 7/12/02 We get Dr. Tom and Kevin Kelly back together as the show opens Droz checks in and says he loves the WWE family and still feels at home there, as he was back stage at Raw on Monday. Droz is asked about Kevin Nash’s injury and the NwO’s ultimatum to HHH. Droz says when Nash went down he knew it was bad, and he says that now HHH has to join the group in order for it to succeed. Kelly says many people are saying that the NwO is dead and it is jinxed, Kelly asks Droz what he thinks. Droz says he doesn’t know if it is dead, but if HHH joins then the NwO will be unbeatable force (That statement would be laughable if it weren’t so sad). Kelly asks if Big Show can be the difference maker (What?). Droz says he can be, if he is truly into the group and is in shape. Droz says he thanks Big Show is in this all of these things right now. Kelly says if the Big Show is going to step up he must do it now. Tom Pritchard agrees. Kelly talks about the ECW flavor of Raw on Monday. He mentions the feud between RVD and Lesnar. Droz is asked who will win the IC title at Vengeance. Kelly asks if RVD will walk away with the title (Huh?). Droz says he doesn’t think anyone will walk over Lesnar. Droz puts over ECW and says how great the Van Terminator was that RVD did on Heyman. Kelly asks if Lesnar needs the IC Title to get over because he already has the SummerSlam Title shot (Good Question)? Tom Pritchard says Lesnar will not be satisfied with RVD beating him at Vengance and that he wants the IC Title. Kelly asks who has the momentum going into Vengeance; Angle, Taker, or Rock? Droz says he wants Taker to come out on top, but that everyone is excited about the Rock. Pritchard says the Rock will always be a part of the WWE because he loves the crowd, and that even if he makes movies he will be back. Pritchard asks if Taker tapped out to Angle. Droz says he doesn’t know who actually won, but it will be settled at Vengeance (Very insightful), we then getting to talking about Droz’s dog. Droz now leaves the show Kelly now goes into his “giving props” segment. He starts by saying Tommy Dreamer was great and looked like the Tommy Dreamer of old on Raw. Kelly gives kudos to everyone who was in the main event on Raw because they dealt very well with the injury to Nash (It was still a big cluster). Both Dr. Tom and Kelly give credit to the guys for being professionals. Kelly says he congratulates Jericho for making John Cena look good on Smackdown. Now Kelly gives Trish and Jackie props for being able to come the work the next day after the match they had on Raw (I am not sure that even deserves a comment) Tom Pritchard said Jackie should be in the developmental territory and should not be on live television with her limited experience (Amen!!) Kelly says the embarrassment can be a great learning experience. Tazz now joins and is asked about where Jackie belongs. Tazz says he doesn’t know enough about the developmental territories to say what you can learn there (That doesn’t sound like a ringing endorsement of the WWE Developmental Territories). Tazz says Trish doesn’t have the experience of Molly Holly or Ivory. Tazz says Trish has picked things up very well, but is still green. Tazz thinks it takes two people to have a great match and two to have a stinker match. Tazz says the powers that be need to decide what to do after a match like that. Kelly says they got great experience of learning what to do when things go wrong. Tazz says after a blown spot you should at least grab your opponent and perform a hold no matter how much the crowd boos, not just fake a finish that was blown. Pritchard says again it is way too soon to put Jackie on television. Tazz says maybe so, but Maven looked good right away. Tazz says he put Maven over in his first match and then Maven fought Undertaker, thus the veteran opponents made Maven look good.. So Tazz says they should give Jackie a more experienced opponent. Tazz says he saw a very talented Molly Holly carry an inexperienced Torrie Wilson in an earlier match. Tazz says he is sorry for making fun of Molly in his announcing on Smackdown, and that he should have talked about her great in-ring talent. Kelly gives his final congrats to the editorial staff of Raw Magazine for their new Steve Austin behind the story issue (That has got to make Austin smile). Tazz talks about his surgery again, saying he has a foot growing out of his side now. Tazz and Kelly talk about Jimmy Snuka being on Confidential, and getting to hang out with him. They talk about how many times Jimmy says the word “lovely”. Kelly says Jimmy claims he wants one more run (oh God!). Even Tazz laughs this off. Kelly asks Tazz about the return of the Rock. Tazz says Rock delivered and was great, and applauds Rock for making fun of Mark Lloyd. Kelly asks Tazz about the development of the Anti-American group of Storm and company. Tazz says it is going great and that fans in the arenas really hate them. Tazz says you need heels like these guys to make babyfaces look great. Tazz takes time to discuss how Red Hook is a part of America. We now get Tazz saying someone named Joey Fingers will take out Bud Selig, “Red Hook Style” (At least that is what I think he said.). Now Kelly asks who booked the screw job ending of the All Star game (That is really funny). Tazz now leaves. We now get a caller. He says he is saddened by Kevin Nash’s injury and he believes Nash still has a lot left in him regardless of what the internet smarts say (No, I think they say he never had anything in him to begin with). Dr. Tom agrees Kevin Nash still has a couple more years left in him and he is not ready to hang it up. The caller says HHH needs to be added to the NwO to save it and says Big Show needs to get into better shape to make any impact on the NwO. Dawn Marie now comes on. Kelly asks Dawn how it feels to be in the WWE. She says everything has happened so quickly and that everyday is an adventure. Dawn says the greatest lesson she has learned so far is to keep up with her itinerary. Dr. Tom asks how she feels about Mr. McMahon being her on air partner her first night in. Dawn says she was nervous about working with Vince, but it went great. Dawn talks about her ECW days and said at first she was new to the business and was in over her head. She says she has been working for 7 years to get to the WWE. Dr. Tom asks if Dawn wants to get into the ring to wrestle. Dawn says she is excited about getting in the ring and has been wrestling Torrie at house shows. Kelly asks her about the final ECW show. Dawn says they didn’t know it was the final show when it happened so they didn’t get that “last show” feeling. But she remembers being numb when Paul Heyman called her and told her ECW was done. She says she was humbled by the fact that your job is not always going to be there (Welcome to the real world) Kelly asked her who has influenced her. Dawn says she was lucky to work with Lance Storm and he was sweet and open. Then Dawn also says Shane Douglas was a great teacher and helped her refine her technique and he taught her so much about in-ring-work. Dawn Marie says Buh Buh Ray Dudley was on her BUTT every day in ECW about working hard (Man could you run with that comment) Kelly asks her how being leered at by men feels? She says it is nice to have men find her sexy because at home she doesn’t think she is a diva, just a t-shirt and sweats girl. She says it is nice to be appreciated by men for her work in the gym and the salon (I am sure it is excruciating). Kelly asks her if she would pose nude for Playboy. Dawn says never say never and Tom gets very excited. Dr. Tom asks if she enjoys coming off as catty on television, and she says every woman is catty sometimes and that she does like to play her character like that because men like cat fights. A caller asks if Dawn knows if Trish and Jackie have any heat between them after their match on Monday. Dawn says she has not seen the match, and does not know. Dr. Tom says it was a classic and says it resembled a Junk Yard Dog vs. Michael P.S. Hayes match Kelly now talks about Big Country to Dawn Marie. Dr. Tom asks if she has experienced any sexual harassment in the back or from the fans. Dawn says the ECW fans were rough, but she has never had any problems with wrestlers. Kelly asks about the Golden Thong Award and Divas Undressed Show. Dawn says the show was so much fun, and Dawn got to eat lunch with Mae Young and Moolah, whom she loves. Kelly asks is it was a liquid lunch that Mae had, and Dawn Marie said Mae had a Coke and some kind of liquid. A caller comes on and tries to come on to Dawn Marie. He asks if she is shaved (That is hilarious. I am out.) everyone is shocked and Dawn says she shaves her legs everyday. The guys quickly move on. Kelly asks about the problems Sable and Chyna had in the WWE, and how to avoid that happening to her. Dawn Marie says she tries to stay down to earth and tries not to even discuss wrestling if she is not watching a match. Dawn Marie says the show isn’t run on one person and you need to remember you can be always be replaced (Memo to Austin). An e-mailer asks if Dawn Marie is spoken for. She says she is engaged to Simon Diamond from ECW. Kevin Kelly asks to talk to Simon Diamond who happens to be there. Kelly asks Simon about Dawn's shoes, and underwear. Simon says he is doing a lot of Indy Work and trying to stay in shape. Diamond says he is playing baseball again in a semi-pro league in New Jersey. Simon is asked if he is jealous of Dawn Marie and he says no, that she is the hardest worker he has seen. Simon leaves and Dawn gets back on and is asked if she goes commando? Dawn just laughs. A caller asked her about managing versus wrestling. Dawn says she loves managing and but she wants to be able to wrestle too. Dawn says she is not that good yet, and Dr. Tom says she just needs experience. Dawn says she would manage again if asked. Dawn Marie now leaves as Kevin Kelly kisses up to her. Kelly and Dr. Tom make fun of the guy who asked the shave question. We now get witty banter about Syracuse and Florida State Universities. We now get a replay of the Noble, Nidia, and Tajiri skit on Smackdown We come back to Jamie Noble on the phone (He is actually more country in real life than he is when in character) Kelly asks what he did before joining the WWE. Noble says he has loved wrestling forever since he was little. He says in 1993-94 he ran into some Indy workers who he worked with in Kentucky. He says in 97 he started working in Florida and trained with Dean Malenko. In 1999, he was hired by WCW and he went to the Power Plant and was eventually released, as WCW started to downsize. However, he was rehired because Jimmy Hart and Kanyon liked him. He worked WCW Saturday Night and then did the Jung Dragons thing on Nitro and Thunder. Eventually, he was bought up by the WWE when they took WCW. Noble says winning the WWE Cruiserweight title was the greatest moment in his life. He says he is very appreciative to have been able to train with the likes of Benoit and Guerrero and he says he has been packaged wonderfully so far by the WWE. Noble says being the champ is still sinking in. Kelly asks when he was in the developmental territory in Cincinnati, if he ever felt that he wouldn’t make it. Noble says he always believed he would get at least one opportunity to make it in the WWE. Kelly asks if the on character persona he plays is close to his real life personality. Noble says it is very similar to the real him (That is scary). He says he lived in trailers all his life and even built trailers. Kelly asks how good a kisser Nidia is. Noble says his wife is the best kisser and his wife is taking all the Nidia stuff very well. Noble says he is very happy with Nidia and says her work with Jim Cornette was very important for her (Read this Jackie). Dr. Tom says Noble has a lot of respect in the business for his work ethic and asks where his career goes from here. Noble says his character can go a lot of different directions ,and that he and Nidia will get a lot of mileage out of their characters. Noble says he is very excited about the cruiserweight division in the WWE especially with the addition of Rey Jr. Noble says the cruiserweights all need to get on the same page and make things a little rougher and more competitive. Kelly says some people like high flying and some people like fighting. Noble believes the cruiserweights must get more physical and he is not going to pull anything in his matches and that he is going to be more physical. Dr. Tom says Jamie reminds him of Chris Benoit. Kelly puts over Noble as a professional and Noble says he just loves wrestling and wrestles every match like it is his last. Noble wants fans to know he busts his ass. A caller puts over Noble’s work in the WCW and asks if he can beat Rey Jr. (This guy on the phone is as Deliverance as it gets. You could smell the inbreeding from his voice) Knoble says he can crush Rey. Noble wants to be called the Redneck Messiah. Another caller asks Jamie who he patterns his style of wrestling after. Noble says Chris Benoit. Then the caller asks if there are any smaller guys he has tried to emulate. Noble says he only patterned himself after Benoit, but he was inspired by the success of Rey Jr. and Juvi Guerrero. Noble says he has wrestled Rey Jr, and it was a dream come true and he hopes to fight him on a pay per view with a lot of time to work. Jamie says he is a student of the game and he knows any and everyone’s style. The caller calls back that made the “shaved” comment to Dawn Marie and apologizes. Then asks if Noble is shaved (You couldn’t see that coming). Kelly then actually asks why he wants to know if Noble is shaved. (What? Kelly is sick) Another caller asks if Noble’s family tree is a circle (Huh?). Everyone just ignores this and Kelly asks Noble about an impressive match in Cincinnati. Jamie says he and his partner, BJ Wittimer were supposed to be in a ladder and tables match with Kimo, Ron Waterman, Steve Bradley, and Lance Cade. Noble says the finish had him and his partner both go through two tables together from the top of a ladder and it was a great spot. Dr. Tom says he saw the match, and it could have stood up to any PPV quality tables, ladder, and chair match the WWE has put on (Must have been awesome) Noble is asked about the Brand Extension. He says he likes it because it gives cruiserweights a chance to shine and he hopes they don’t get buried if the rosters are combined again. Noble says everyone was so nice in the locker room that he was scared the guys were setting him up for hazing, but nothing has happened so far. Jamie hopes he gets to fight Billy Kidman at Vengeance and says it will be a 5 star match. He now leaves. Dr. Tom puts Noble over as a great talent. We now get discussion about the “shaved” caller and Kelly mentions how he interviewed three generations of Orton's and there interview will appear on Confidential in two weeks. The crew is hoping to have John Cena on next week, but it is not confirmed. Also, they will have a Vengeance preview next week. We then get witty banter between the crew about “Donkey Nuts”, Howard Finkel, and Tom Pritchard’s career (No elaboration necessary). The show ends with a clip of the ECW members rejoining on Raw last year in Atlanta. Credit: www.1wrestling.com

Guest WWF4Life Report post Posted July 13, 2002 Who ever wrote that recap though needs a slap, with all of those stupid comments in brackets...sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Regarding Noble though, I hope he gets a feud with Rey Jr over the title. And yes, Cornette is awesome. Having watched a lot of OVW tapes, he's doing an awesome job.
