Tonight on IFC, the Independent Film Channel, 3 zombie films will be shown back-to-back until the early hours.

No Telling is the story of a Frankenstein-like scientist and his wife, who begins to discover his "experiments"...

Dead Alive is a classic to horror movie fans, and is the story of a young man (Lionel) with an overbearing mother and the lengths he goes to to hide his mother's reanimation after a bite from a ratmonkey...

And then, to top it all off...

Re-Animator is the tale of Dr. Herbert West, whose experiments to cheat death continue to get more gruesome with each passing success and failure.

I'm taping Re-Animator, since I've never seen it before, but heard only praise for. And the best thing: All films are uncut. Yep...

Last night was Night Of The Living Dead and Dawn Of The Dead played back-to-back from about 9:30-10 at night until 5:30 in the morning. Only thing I didn't like about the showing of Dawn Of The Dead is that they didn't use the original ending, which I think is a lot better than the theatrical ending...

As for tomorrow night, I'm not sure what movies are going to be shown. I'm hoping for Return Of The Living Dead and maybe Zombie. Hell, any Fulci zombie flick would be nice. Even better: The Dead Hate The Living

evenflowDDT, CHUD, I expect you both to be watching tonight!

Now more than ever, I wish I had that channel.

Dead Alive is GREAT. It's one of the goriest films ever.

Re-Animator kicks ass. It's going to be uncut? Disembodied head of David Gale trying to slit-lick and all?

I would rejoice... if I got IFC in the first place. Damn you, Comcast.

It's always fun to show my friends Dead Alive and then say... HEY, THAT'S THE SAME GUY THAT DIRECTED LORD OF THE RINGS!

With Re-Animator... the scene with the cat can't be topped... I never laughed so hard in my life.... actually, I think I laughed just as hard at the baby in the park scene in Dead Alive. Hmmm

That sounds like a great lineup, but I own Dead Alive & Re-Animator uncut on DVD, so I can have my own night at the movies.

Still, even catching great movies like that on TV is always fun. B)
