Guest Downhome Posted July 14, 2002 Report Posted July 14, 2002 The Siffle & Ollie Show, I think I'm one of the only people to ever enjoy that show.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted July 14, 2002 Report Posted July 14, 2002 Dark Angel got canned?! Damn, Lita broke her neck for nothing.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 I demand to know what happened to Daria MTV's Now What? That 80's show Greg the Bunny
Guest chirs3 Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Daria was, unfortunately, canceled. It lasted a while though... stupid MTV.
Guest Nezbyte Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 The Siffle & Ollie Show, I think I'm one of the only people to ever enjoy that show. that show was great.
Guest Hitman Jebus Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 "Go Fish" on NBC with Kieran Culkin, comedy god Will Friedle (from Boy Meets World) and Joe Flaherty (SCTV) plus...that hot hot girl culkin was going after on show (drool...) Anyway, 3 shows later it was gone but I thought it was great
Guest Vyce Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 "Cupid". GREAT show that aired on ABC in the 98-99 season I believe. It starred Jeremy Piven as a man who believed he was Cupid, trapped in human form until he got 100 couples together. Paula Marshall played his therapist / friend/ eventual love interest. It was a great show. Funny, smart, romantic....it had everything going for it but a timeslot. First it got put on at 10 p.m. on Saturday nights, when NO ONE is home. Then it got moved to Thursday nights against NBC's powerhouse shows. It was cancelled before the season was over with. Which is a shame, because it was one of the best shows of that season and one of the best shows to come out in a long time.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Gross Point - used to love watching this show, but it was axed after a few episodes Cleopatra 2525 - I was starting to get into this show, despite odd time slots, yet, apparently, they axed it. M.A.N.T.I.S. - I vaguely remember this show being on FOX, if I have the right show, it blew up a robotic Urkel in one of its commercials, then promptly vanished like three episodes later. The Jenny McCarthy Show - I do not think this lasted long at all. Fantasy Island(the remake) Down the Shore Gary & Mike - I remember WWF pumping this show or something, then it just vanished. The Lone Gunmen Undergrads - I heard this show was cancelled, which really sucks I was starting to get into it. Spy Groove Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show
Guest Karnage Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Undergrads only had around 12 episodes. It's still on Teletoon but it probably got canned in the states. Was anything ever explained after Gary and Mike jumped the bridge?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 "Holding the Baby"...aired a couple of years ago, I watched the first episode...it was the worst thing ever (I still have nightmares)...I don't know how many more it had after that. "The War Next Door"...cool show, how could something on USA get canned? It's not like their ratings are strong anyway. "The Jack Of All Trades"...Bruce Campbell is the man...this show kicked ass...I hate whoever pulled the plug Look Who's Talking (The Series), A League of Their Own (The Series)...gee, maybe shows based on crappy movies go on to make crappy tv "Apartment 2D"...unfunny mtv show with stand up comic twins The only reason to watch Cleo 2525 was for Jennifer Sky...other then that it was godawful, but man was she hot.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Shoot me, but Popular Carly Pope anyway................
Guest areacode212 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Cupid and Grosse Point (which actually lasted a whole season) were probably my two favorite "cancelled before their time" series of the past few years. I think a lot of people didn't know what to make of GP, since on the surface, it was exactly like every other WB show. It wasn't immediately obvious that it was a satire. Maybe it would have been better off on HBO, paired up with Darren Star's other show (Sex & The City).
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I think I can sum up the best cartoon EVER to not get it's full share of episodes: ROCKO'S MODERN LIFE
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Hey, let's not forget the UPN magnificences that are "Homeboys in Outer Space" and "The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer". Ha! I remember "Gary & Mike" commercials, but don't forget the equally-pimped "As If" and its lead-in, starring the great Will Friedle, "The Random Years". I think UPN is where pilots go to die.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Hmmm.... seems Will Friedle was also in the short-lived sitcom "Go Fish" in 2001. What is it with the guy and everything NOT named "Boy Meets World"?
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 One more for the road... one of the most famous "terrible TV shows" ever, "Pink Lady and Jeff", which is actually now on DVD. It ran a whopping five episodes in spring 1980 before being pulled.
Guest Hitman Jebus Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Hmmm.... seems Will Friedle was also in the short-lived sitcom "Go Fish" in 2001. What is it with the guy and everything NOT named "Boy Meets World"? I KNOW! Doesn't anybody see the potential in this guy! I loved Boy Meets World (beginning to end) and Go Fish (those 3 episodes anyway)...main reason: Will Friedle
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I actually kinda like Friedle too, I thought he was great in "Boy Meets World" and even enjoyed him in the Disney TV movie "My Date with the President's Daughter", but his work in "The Random Years" was pretty bad. He was painfully overacting. I never saw "Go Fish" though... what network was it on?
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 "Working". Had they not changed the cast in season two and its timeslot, it had a good chance of still being on the air.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Working! Fred-Savage! Anyway.... Anyone-remember"Tucker"?
Guest Hitman Jebus Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I never saw "Go Fish" though... what network was it on? NBC It debuted with SpyTV...which they kept!!! MORONS...
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 THE BRIAN BEN BEN SHOW! GRRRR.. That must have lasted what, 10 eps?
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Which character was Will Friedle? All I remember, real name-wise from Boy Meets World, is Ben Savage, Danielle Tish, and Ethan Suplee.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 I demand to know what happened to Daria MTV's Now What? That 80's show Greg the Bunny for daria if you have the noggin network, it goes on at 10pm every night
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 The Siffle & Ollie Show, I think I'm one of the only people to ever enjoy that show. that show was great. i third that
Guest Doomsault Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Shasta McNasty and Jennifer Love Hewitts show, can't think of the name at the moment. I saw about two episodes of each.
Guest Prototype450 Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Was Off Centre canceled? That show was so funny. Chen (milf guy 1 from American pie) was the best character.
Guest Kingpk Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Shasta McNasty and Jennifer Love Hewitts show, can't think of the name at the moment. I saw about two episodes of each. That was "Time of Your Life"
Guest Hitman Jebus Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Off Center NOT CANCELLED! Yes! Thank You WB (I can't believe I wrote that)
