Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted July 14, 2002 Oh Come on, no one remembers anything in Wrestling history that would be ironic today???? give you a current one, Last Raw Benoit tagged with the nWo in the main event... And every time before he was enemies with the nWo for 6 years.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted July 15, 2002 HHH's favorite all-time wrestler is Ric Flair...Shane Douglas, whose "Franchise" gimmick was the forerunner to HHH's "The Game," absolutely despises Ric Flair... Plus, Douglas and HHH are so much alike. They both main-evented companies where they had backstage pull, and once they got severely injured (Douglas with his elbow injury, HHH with his torn quad), neither man was ever the same. Guest J*ingus Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Vince McMahon saying that the WW(F)E's success in the mid-80's and late 90's was due to his taking wrestlers who hadn't been given a fair chance elsewhere and turning them into superstars. Oh, and listening to the fans and giving them what they wanted. RVWho?

Hmm...I would say the entire concept of Douglas being a Rocker to begin with is pretty ironic, as is King of the Ring '93, as the "death of Hulkamania" line ended up being repeated nine years later.
