What I'm talking about really, is some of his work from way back in the early 80's, say 82, 83, 82, pre-Wrestlemania. If you haven't, you really need to check it out ESPECIALLY his work AGAINST The Dynamite Kid. Many look at The British Bulldog as simply one of the cookiecutter "power guys" but he was much more than that. You saw part of it in matches such as against Bret Hart, and his match against Owen for the first Euro title, but back in the old days he was just on fire. As a matter of fact, he wrestled a style somewhat like Dynamite and Benoit showcase. Not only this, but Davey actuall wrestled Dynamite for the WWF Jr. Title in a few matches.

 

I know some of you have seen it, but I also know many of you have not. I'm just saying, you must check it out, because if you haven't ever seen it before, you will instantly think that much more of Davey Boy Smith. I know I do now!

 

(Just for the record, I just ordered this tape from Corey and I can't wait to get it so I can sit down and enjoy Bulldog Bliss! Holy crap, how perverted did THAT just sound!? Anyhow, stop by and see what Corey has to offer, it's where I buy most of my tapes!)

I have seen clips of some old school Bulldog stuff on the NJPW:Radical fights Vids. I think it has the match with him and Dynamite where Billington fucks up his back.

Eh, I don't really care for Corey's. I know tape traders always over-embelish the quality of matches on the comps they're selling, but at times it's out-right annoying. Also, the last Junior Comp. I bought from him was clipped to pieces, when he didn't mention that any of them would be. He's got a whole lot of stuff, but there are better guys for comps out there.

 

Still, that Bulldog's comp is bound to have something worthwhile on there.
