For me I would say Albert Bell is at the top of my list. Dennis Rodman also stuck me as being one as well. Ken Griffey Jr. is on it now that he has become a whining little bitch.

You totally deserve the Phillies, Eagles, 76ers, and Flyers, who have combined for a whopping two world championships in the last twenty-five years.

Mike Tyson and Dennis Rodman are very nice guys when it comes to dealing with fans. I've seen both of them in public places many times and they'll take away from their own time to talk to fans whenever. They both could be assholes while in their sports though. Griffey seemed to act like an asshole to a bunch of fans on one of his trips to Pittsburgh.

Man In Blak, I think most Philly fans get a bad rap for the actions of a few. In fact, the Phillies fans have gotten quite amusing this year. Just about every pitcherhas a group of fans who dance every time they record a K, and a group of fans even dressed up and did a victory jig when Todd Pratt performed the amazing accomplishment of drawing a walk. But anyway, not all of us are assholes. I like to think Im fairly civilized, and my love for the Cardinals keeps me sane as well.

Well, it's not like the Kings didn't invite the trash-talking. While I agree that there was WAAAY too much talking going on from both sides in the Western Conference Finals, I certainly don't absolve guys like Mike Bibby, Vlade Divac, and Chris Webber. It takes two to trash-talk. Oh, and for the record, the referees gave the Lakers Game Six, but the refs gave the Kings Game 5, and if every player besides Mike Bibby didn't run and hide like little bitches during overtime of Game Seven, the Kings would've won the series despite Game Six.

You rat bastard, you beat me to it. Philly fans are the absolute WORST fans on the face of God's green earth. They're almost all of that mutant mentality, and just listening to any one of those drunken, imbecilic, unfeeling, know-nothing boobs makes me want to vomit. They can talk about how Iverson and McNabb are gods all they want, but as soon as they start losing, the fans will start their battery chuckin' at their false idols.

I'll agree with that. Lord knows why he went off on Johnny Estrada, but I will say that as long as he hits the way he does (he's leading the IL in HRs again this year), he'll have a job. What's really funny is that if you search the web, all you'll find is support for the guy because he got benched last year "unfairly". He got benched because he dogged it. BADLY. Another side note: Estrada was apparently behind the plate for the Drew Henson/Brett Myers MOTYC a few weeks ago.

 

Of course, nobody EVER will approach Deion Sanders in terms of being an asshole. He was the worst. Absolutely. No one beats him. He is, was, and always will be, the BIGGEST loudmouthed pussy in professional sports. I find most the Baseball HOFers to be angry, and bitter that today's players are making so much more.

 

Last year I went to the Baseball HOF induction ceremony. We got the Cooperstown around 6:30, and low and behold the museum was closed, because the HOFers where going arrive soon. We decided to wait for about 2 1/2 hours, than we grabbed something to eat. When we left the restraunt the players had arrived and where entering the museum. From a distance I saw the great Yogi Berra, totally ignore someone right in front of him. No nod, or wave or even a smile it was right into the building for cocktail hour.

People wait outside for 3 hours, to get glimpse of these legends and they get brushed off. It's bad enough that they charge $50 dollars an autograph but they can't acknowledge the crowd.

 

Kirby Puckett-A liar and a phoney and alleged wife beater. It would be one thing if he would of slept around, but he acted like this loving family man, he was a total hypocrite. The opinion of Puckett has changed up here. He used to be loved, and would make all sort of appearance at games and on TV. This year when he's involved with a ceremony he's pushed to the side,and barely mentioned. Than when he is, people give more of polite thanks for being a great player, and winning those 2 World Series titles, but we think you're a disgusting slob.

He's the reason we went to Cooperstown, but if this story would of gotten out before that, we wouldn't of gone. I question if Puckett would of even made last year.

I totally agree with the pitchers on the armor thing. It's out of control. Guys lean over the plate, but have plastic shit all over them, so that they don't feel anything. That's bullshit. It's one thing to have the little ankle protector, in case you foul the ball off of your leg, or in Jermaine Dye's case, one on your knee. But someone like Barry Bonds has no right complaining, and I would hit him everytime he came up to bat. That's why HR's and offensive #'s are up. Guys are on top of the plate, and it reduces a pitchers ability to pitch inside. If you hit two or more guys by trying the inside corner, you get ejected and fined. They oughta fix it at these meetings they're having.

That is true. I think Tyson may do it because you really need to be in that crazy zone to go out and fight, plus his payday usually depends on how many people come to see him, but Rodman just wanted media attention. There's nothing wrong with that really.

Phillies fans are few, but very loyal. The team has sucked for so many years, yet people like myself can't help but cheer for them. The fans have been really enthusiastic this year and most of it is directed towards certain players, rather than the whole team. The following players have "fan clubs" at games.

 

 

Randy Wolf- The Wolf Pack- The oldest of the groups. The Phils even have had a wolf mask event, showing how popular the group is. When one of the groups members died this spring, the organization had a moment of silence before the game in his honor.

Brandon Duckworth- The Duck Pond

Terry Adams- The Adams Family

Pat Burrell- Burrell's Bunch, Burrell Full of Monkeys

Robert Person- Person's People

Jason Giambi- Giambi's Zombies

and my personal favorite, Vicente Padilla's Padilla's Flotilla, complete with sombreros and oars.
