Guest Thoth Report post Posted July 14, 2002 I was bored. Really bored. So I got my copy of Fire Pro Ace and made a 32 man tourney to see who really was the best. And the results may shock you. Or not. My brackets went like this: Bob Backlund Ultimo Dragon British Bulldog Kevin Nash Mankind Kane KENTA Kobashi The Rock Andre the Giant Stan Hansen Hayabusa HHH Bret Hart Mitsuharu Misawa Lou Thesz DDP Super Delfin Masato Tanaka Bam Bam Bigelow Ricky Fuji The Great Sasuke Hulk Hogan RVD Scott Steiner Sting Riki Chosyu Takao Omori Taka Michinoku Scott Norton Rick Steiner Goldberg Chris Jericho Might I add, that these were all random selects. Matches of note: Hayabusa made Trip his bitch. Total squash. Thesz won with the Lou Thesz press. Chosyu beat Sting with a Scoprion Death Lock Goldberg beat Jericho in 5 minutes of game time. From now on, that unit of time will be known as a "Jericho." The brackets continue: Bob Backlund Kevin Nash Kane The Rock Stan Hansen Hayabusa Mitsuharu Misawa Lou Thesz Masato Tanaka Bam Bam Bigelow Hulk Hogan Scott Steiner Riki Chosyu Takao Omori Scott Norton Goldberg Nothing of note... though Masato Tanaka vs Bigelow went 5 Jerichos. Then... the final eight! Kevin Nash The Rock Stan Hansen Lou Thesz Masato Tanaka Hulk Hogan Riki Chosyu Goldberg Now, Masato Tanaka vs The Orange Goblin went 10 Jerichos, and Tanaka hit a billion powerbombs and Roaring Elbows, and Hogan hit the leg a bunch... but Tanaka won! Onto the final four. Kevin Nash Stan Hansen Masato Tanaka Goldberg Goldberg beat Tanaka in half a Jericho with the Jackhammer. I know. Fucking hell. And for the finals: Kevin Nash Goldberg And here is the finish, as if commentated by me. "Goldberg is going for the Jackhammer after having been powerbombed six times by Nash and kicking out each time! This move beat Masato Tanaka after half a Jericho! He gets it! And the cover! ONE! TWO! ... ... ... ... ... THREE- NO! NO! NO! NASH KICKS OUT! Goldberg's still down... wait, Nash gets up! He makes the cover! ONE! TWO! THREE! NASH WINS! ...wait... what the hell?" This was literally how it ended. Comments are welcome.
