Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted July 15, 2002 They already have.... Jamie Noble Billy Kidman Rey Misterio Jr. Yoshihiro Tajiri Chavo Guerrero Jr. Shane Helms Shannon Moore Sho Funaki Those are eight guys who can GO when they feel like it. Open Billionaire Vince's wallet and add in... TAKA Michinoku Jerry Lynn AJ Styles Kid Kash Super Crazy Guido Maritato Tony Mamaluke Give them 20 minutes on Smackdown and the entire hour of Velocity, and promote Velocity well on both of the main shows. Let Malenko and Heyman book the shows. Make the majority of the storylines simply about gaining respect and trying to build their way up to the titles (keep the Cruiserweight title and add in Cruiserweight tag titles eventually) The cruisers WILL get over. Even with the marks. Anyone disagree?
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Also throw in Kaz Hayashi, Psicosis, Juventud Guerrera, and La Parka if fresh faces are needed... if Blitzkreig is still around, throw him in too.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted July 15, 2002 I disgaree with adding any of those cruiserweights. I say...send all of the ones that don't work for NWA:TNA to NWA:TNA. Vince is NEVER serious about pushing the cruisers, so why should we see great talent like AJ Styles and LA FUCKING PARKA be wasted in a company that prides itself on every match look the same... Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted July 15, 2002 At a glance, TAKA is training people at his dojo, Kaz is in AJPW, and Psichosis isn't even called Psichosis anymore. Malenko was supposedly already booking the division and with Heyman booking Smackdown!, I think your dream has already been fufilled in that aspect. Too bad it doesn't seem to have made a diference. I stand firm in my belief that Rey is the only thing that can save it now.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 15, 2002 I think that Jerry Lynn should never leave the X Division of NWA TNA, he is the star of the company, that being said I doubt that Jerry Lynn will never be givin a 20 minute match in the WWE or a chance to shine as his is now in TNA. Nor will Lynn be given a chance to use all of his talent to make a entertaining match in WWE land. AJ Style should also stay away from WWE for the same reasons.....his style is to similiar to RVD to be given a good push. The Styles Clash as a finisher would never be accepted in WWE. Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted July 15, 2002 My dreams are crushed We need a fed with 2 or 3 hours of TV time per week where ONLY cruiserweights are allowed from all over the world. No cruisers in the WWE or NWA... just in that one place. Innovative offense, stiff kicks, and craaazy high spots are where it's at. ......and then I woke up. Guest Cubbie78 Report post Posted July 15, 2002 anyone here like american dragon?...I saw him in a couple of ring of honor shows, and his matches were real good...hes young, he has charisma in the ring, and I just like his whole look...
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted July 15, 2002 If a division has to be pushed like HHH just to get over, then is it really worth it?

American Dragon rules the whole fucking world. The WWE's clame that they're "not impressed" with him while continuing to push people like Brock and Ortan is perhaps the most telling commentary on Stanford I've seen yet. Guest Baggy Sac Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Bring back Ultimo Dragon, and Silver King, Lismark Jr., Vianno 1-999, Damian, Cyclope, Super Calo, and any other Mexican. How awesome were those fucked up lucha 20 man tags? Besides if the division tanks, who makes better jobbers than Mexicans? And even though they arent Cruiserweights : Adrian Byrd, and Chad Fourtune, no one jobs like these scrubs.
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted July 15, 2002 3 Things 1) I think the NWA / TNA should give cruisers at least half the show. Have a lot of small good workers. Also makes the monsters look even bigger by having the other guys be smaller. 2) The WWE cruiserweight division needs to add about one guy a month with a focused push and a gimmick. Two matches a week on smackdown plus some velocity time and I'll be happy. And every PPV should have 2 matches. 3) Check out Ring of Honor if you like this stuff. Its a good cruiser fix. Guest Brian Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Bryan was also in their developmental system and literally pissed on by firing him. Screw it, he loves working indies.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Ultimo dragon will never wrestle again will he?
Guest Brian Report post Posted July 15, 2002 He will. There's a doctor who can perform the surgery he needs, so unless there's a screw-up he will probably wrestle.
Guest ErekT2k Report post Posted July 15, 2002 It could easily get over: The Cruiserweight Division, that is. I'm just shocked that people didn't mention Jeff Hardy. Yeah, he's not as crazy as Rey Mysterio, but he still puts up great matches and the works. Bring in Mysterio, (I think he's going to Smackdown), and let's watch. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Those are eight guys who can GO when they feel like it. No fucking kidding about getting the cruisers over if they wanted to. And I think they will eventually. Hell, RVD is more or less officially pushed, so I wouldn't be suprised if Cruisers were behind. And don't give me that HHH crap, if anything he probably thinks they "arent in my league" and won't care. As for your list, would TAKA & Lynn really sign another contract? I guess it's money, but they know what to expect from WWE and if they felt underutilized before, I don't blame the guys for keeping a grudge. Styles already rejected a WWE deal. And I'm not too familiar as to who the others are as I don't keep a pulse on the Indy scene.
Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted July 15, 2002 alot of people on the indie scene are hugely overated. should bring in Juventud though.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted July 15, 2002 I'm just shocked that people didn't mention Jeff Hardy. Yeah, he's not as crazy as Rey Mysterio, but he still puts up great matches and the works. Great matches? Jeff Hardy? Sure, he throws his body around and goes through stuff, but I can't remember 1 "great" Jeff Hardy match outside of the TLC matches.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Jeff Hardy is better off bumping for the heavyweights and sticking to tag matches. He used to be called "The Next HBK"... but he is far from Shawn Michaels.
Guest Brian Report post Posted July 16, 2002 Well, he used to do stuff that was there but lately he's just a walking cripple, but not in that Triple H way, in that "I'm probably too hurt to bump but I still will because I get pops for it".
