Guest Jerome Drake Report post Posted July 15, 2002 I heard the recent "Jermaine Durpi Diss" by Xzbit. All I have to say is YOU GOT BURNNNNNNNNNNNNNN JD. Best one ever is by far "The Bridge Is Over" - KRS-One. Classic diss, with barely no cursing.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Nas vs Jay Z LL Cool J vs Kool Moe Dee LL Cool J vs Cannibus Dr Dre vs Luke Dr Dre vs Easy E are all good battles
Guest Jerome Drake Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Nas Vs. Jay Z wasnt really that good. It was overrated. I mean "Superugly" by Jay-Z was horrible. But i heard Jay Z wrote it in like an hour. Takeover was ok. All of Nas's disses were good.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 15, 2002 DJ Quik diss of MC Eiht from the Murder Was the Case album, has its moments "a G you claim to be, your barely 100 pounds soaking wet"
Guest EQ Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Eminem v. Insane Clown Posse (Probably not the best, but it's the one I've heard the most songs from)
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted July 15, 2002 I kinda felt sorry for Canibus in his battle with LL Cool J. The former is infinitely more talented than the latter, but Canibus' albums were saddled with lousy production and beats. Plus, LL had the bigger audience, so Canibus was essentially losing a popularity contest.
Guest ant_7000 Report post Posted July 16, 2002 Ice Cube vs Eazy-E Cube's "No Vaseline" is classic I NEVER HAD DINNER WITH THE PRESIDENT!!!!!!! chours was funny as hell. Common vs Cube Common's "I used to love H.E.R." diss was most intelligent diss ever Nas vs Jay-Z: Need more songs advantage: Nas 2pac vs. Biggie, Puffy, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, Dre, and Nas "Against all odds" was hot and "Bomb 1st" gets me hype every time I hear it. Pac was on some personal shit right there. JD vs Dre is weak: But I did like what Dre said though im successful without using 10-11 year olds which is true JD produce Kriss Kross, Da Brat, and Bow Wow and made money off them. Guest Still Fly Report post Posted July 17, 2002 No Vaseline has to be the brutal, scathing diss in the history of West Coast rap. I mean damn Cube made the NWA look like a bunch of little faggots. The Ice Cube vs NWA fued would have been better if Dre hadnt left for Death Row a couple months after the song was realesed.
