Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Seems like Cena and Batista are getting more Smark love these days then Brock...did WWE push the right guy for the spot?
Guest caboose Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 None of them. No one should have been booked as 'The Next Big Thing'. They should have been allowed to come in and work themselves up. Not be shoved down our throats.
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 none have them have really proved anything to me. brock lesnar - hasn't had a good match yet and is semi over due to his size and one big move. john cena - has looked good in the ring but he has been in there with some top talent. he shows a lot of potential but i haven't seen enough of him to to say he is the nest big thing. batista - the dude looks impressive. i think he should have been pair with lesnar and they could have made one dominent team. teaming with d-von is getting him nowhere but i think he will break out soon. randy orton - i'm not a fan of this dude. his backstage work is shit and his matches are boring except for the five star highcross body. he shows potential too but is still very green IMO.
Guest converge241 Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 hes not on the list SEAN OHAIRE Ive always been high on him out of your list though i went Cena
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 I don't like to use the term "pay your dues" because for the most part I think that's really dumb. BUT... Lesnar will be undisputed champion in about 6 weeks without accomplishing either of the following two thigs: 1. HAve a *** match 2. Get over So they are pushing a guy who hasn't had a good match...and isn't over to be a main eventer. Now that I think about it...he'll fit right in to the main event scene. Anyways...Brock should not be the next big thing. Neither should anyone else. It's a lame gimmick.
Guest jtronx Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 I mark out for Rob Conway, myself. I've liked him both times I've seen him on Velocity. Gotta track down some OVW tapes...
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 sean o'haire is going to be huge in the wrestling business but i didn't count him since he's all ready been to the show before. the guy has an amazing look and has all the talent in the world too. he'll be IC champ by years end i bet.
Guest jtronx Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 It's too bad they changed his music, though. I was PO'd the last time I watched HEAT and O'Haire didn't come out to the old stuff...
Guest KurtsBaby02 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 What about RVD? In ECW at least the management (if there was any lol) reconized he had talent. Now Brock Lesnar (who can't get a better crowd reaction than Crash without Paul Heyman behind him) is gonna be champ, such bullshit these days.

I was PO'd the last time I watched HEAT and O'Haire didn't come out to the old stuff... i think they are trying to phase out any old wcw music with the exception of hogan's and booker's themes. kidman's kick ass wcw theme has been changed too.
