Guest Moondog Spot Report post Posted July 16, 2002 Since Shawn Michaels seems to have nothing to do now, and the NWO is dead how about Shawn having his own segment each week on RAW or Smackdown like a Piper's Pit, Brother Love, Barber Shop type segment. It would let him be on tv every week without having to wrestle or be in a storyline. In fact his "show" could be a great place for feuds and storylines to start, instead of crap like 2 wrestlers bumping in to each other spilling coffee on them in the back , or trying to get a shampoo comercial deal. I miss Piper's Pit like segments and I think it could work today. Plus Shawn is a good talker and could stir stuff up like the Hot Rod used to!!!
Guest Prince Paul Report post Posted July 16, 2002 kind of like...The Heartbreak Hotel???? Then they can hire Duke Droese and TL Hopper again too!!!!!
Guest jester Report post Posted July 16, 2002 That might not be a bad idea. Especially since backstage interviews really suck now: Coach/Terri: Excuse me, Undertaker- Undertaker: [does or say something to get interviewer to shut up before the first question is out, basically goes on to do promo alone] I get the feeling Micheals would think the whole thing beneath him though, and would just suck up to whoever he liked and not give any rub to those he didn't, rather than follow face/heel storylines. jester

Guest Moondog Spot Report post Posted July 16, 2002 Well it was just an idea, I forgot about the "Heartbreak Hotel" I was not trying to bring 1994-1995 back, just an idea, maybe one that should be left in the past huh?? But you have to admit some of that stuff like on Piper's Pit was classic though!!

Am I evil for thinking of THAT angle as interesting and captivating as well? Yes you are! How old were you when you found these angles captivating? I was 13-14 thank you very much, and was a huge HUGE Undertaker mark, and I'm talking HUGE. Hell, I enjoyed 'Taker Vs. IRS and will NEVER forget the promo's of IRS in the graveyards! :D:D
Guest Prince Paul Report post Posted July 16, 2002 I was a HUGE Taker amrk as well. I had his shirt, which was just his face, ALL over the front, like 1 HUGE picture, then it said Rest in Peace on the bottom. I thought the Fake Taker angle was good at the time too, but that's just because I wanted my Taker back.

Yes, if The Man From the Dark Side ever returned, that mark would leap out of me once again, and yern for yet another no-sell fest. So sue me, I found it entertaining as hell! Guest Prince Paul Report post Posted July 16, 2002 I think Taker's one of the brighter spots about the WWE right now. I wouldn't have said that 1 year ago.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted July 16, 2002 I think Taker's one of the brighter spots about the WWE right now. I wouldn't have said that 1 year ago. In all seriousness, I have grown to like his current reign. Hell, he's been the best Undisputed Champion (excluding Jericho) up to this point.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 16, 2002 I would prefer seeing Shawn Michaels just have a segment of him training some of the green new guys how to do the Super Kick. Or teach Bradshaw how to do a promo. "Look at the Camera, not me"
