Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted July 21, 2002 They're worse than Drowning Pool, for the one simple reason that "Tear Away" is a decent (not good, great, awesome, or anything like that) song. I can't say the same for any of Linkin Park's songs... The main thing I hate about Linkin Park is everyone thinks they are tthe Gods of music, por ejemplo, when I was in my school weightroom "In the End" came on and everyone except me and my friend started singing along, it was very very disturbing
Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted July 22, 2002 think linkin park mostly appeals to the alternative posers who think it's cool to write brooding and depressed poetry, even though they mostly worry about girls and clothes (the same fuckers who killed alternative music). if you think their music is nice and catchy, more power to you. i can understand that, cause the songs are fairly catchy. i just hate the kids who say "man, i SO TOTALLY understand where they're coming from, like...i try to do all these things and stuff, and like...in the end, it doesn't even matter...whoa..." I am definitely not one of those fuckheads. They make me ashamed to be an LP fan. They are the reason why I ran screaming away from the linkinpark.com message boards after one visit. Vast amounts of idiocy there. The main thing I hate about Linkin Park is everyone thinks they are tthe Gods of music, por ejemplo, when I was in my school weightroom "In the End" came on and everyone except me and my friend started singing along, it was very very disturbing I used to love that song...a year ago. Holy fuck is it overplayed. And the video is so queer. It makes me appreciate "Crawling" even more. I wish they had released "By Myself" as a single. It's probably my favorite on the CD. One thing I don't like about LP though: Most, maybe all, of their songs follow the same outline. Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, verse in a different form than the other verses, chrous. Oh well. I'll just wait for some new material. Fuck "Reanimation".
