Guest liberal Report post Posted February 19, 2002 A friend of mine, who is quite interested in the independant scenes from around the world showed me a tape recently that had matches on it from all different events and federations. Some of the highlights on the tape included: Dino Bambino, CIMA, Gary Steele, (english wrestler) Ian Harrison, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about any of these four guys ie what they are up to now, your opinions of them, their best matches etc. I heard that Gary Steele, when he is not in england is working for the PWF in america but i dont know if this is true. Any information that anyone had would be great.
Guest poopsicle316 Report post Posted February 19, 2002 Well, CIMA is still more-or-less the ace of Ultimo's Toryumon promotion (depending on who you ask) and recently came back from a knee injury. His ring-work still looks great. Steele works the PWF and NWA here and there, but I think that he's over in the UK right now (working the NWA Hammerlock promotion). No clue about the other guys. Guest swan Report post Posted February 19, 2002 Dino works MAW in Wisconsin on a regular basis and I believe SDW in Minnesota.
Guest ElLocoTas Report post Posted February 20, 2002 I haven't heard from Harison since working two EWP shows in Germany in November 2000.
Guest Ulf ist Gut Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Steele's no way as good as the FWA's Doug Williams. If you want wicked chain, psycological wrestling get FWA Crunch 2001 when it comes out, it has an AWESOME match between Chris Daniels and Doug Williams that had the crowd foaming at he mouth by the end. ps. Guest liberal Report post Posted February 20, 2002 I was there for that FWA crunch and agree that the chris daniels / doug williams was awesome and probably the best I have ever seen in England. The only reason I ask about Gary Steele is because I heard steve corino raving about gary steele and I have only seen him wrestle on tape.
