my friends hate me because i've been known to quote that line after seeing a nasty death in a movie or on tv.

That's funny, because I do the same thing.

 

Some comical deaths:

 

The people hitting the propeller in Titanic. Left me in stitches!

 

When Lancelot attacked the wedding in Monty Python and the Holy Grail

 

Dennis Hopper in Speed

 

Kananga in Live and Let Die, plus most of the other 007 movies

 

The Arab swordsman in Raiders of the Lost Ark was classic, of course

In addition to the Shinning death, in The Stepfather the supposed 'hero' comes racing to save the family in danger of being killed by "the Stepfather". Well he comes into the house, The Stepfather recognizes him and then kills him and delivers this line:

 

"Next time you should call ahead"

Rob Van Dam's death (YES RVD was in a movie!) in Blood Moon was great. The evil KickBoxing master who goes around killing every great Martial Arts Master gets him in a suplex position, drops him back snapping his neck, then whips him by his neck and out of the window onto a car. Then the bad guy blows up his car.

I just watched Resident Evil and the part where they're in that room where they're all getting sliced to pieces by the lasers. Why did the black guy just stand there while the laser grid came at him? If he just ran to the back of the room he would have been okay cause they shut it off right after that. I just found it funny that he just stood there and was sliced into small chunks.

The people falling off the Titanic and hitting the propeller(I was laughing out loud in the theater and got some NASTY looks from some women)

 

One of the Leprechaun movies where the poor bastard was being mesmerized by a naked chick and went to kiss her, but he ended up getting slashed to ribbons by an huge ass fan.

 

The scene in Bad Boys where the skinny, dark-haired guy got blown all to hell by Martin Lawerence("You forgot your boradin' pass!")
