Guest Andy Report post Posted July 17, 2002 Hi, Does anybody have a list of the announced card for Vengeance? If so, please could they post it here. (Please separate assumed matches from ones that have been announced so far.) Thanks! Andy
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted July 17, 2002 Here's what's on the WWE Vengeance website: WWE Undisputed Championship The Rock vs. Kurt Angle vs. Undertaker Intercontinental Championship Rob Van Dam vs. Brock Lesnar Tag Team Championship Hollywood Hulk Hogan & Edge vs. Christian & Lance Storm Tag Team Table Match Bubba & Spike Dudley vs. Chris Benoit & Eddie Guerrero No Disqualification, No Count-out Booker T vs. Big Show A match that's not official but may happen if Chris Jericho v John Cena, and there'll probably be some other matches as well, like a possible Women's Title match between Molly and Trish or Jeff Hardy v William Regal European Title match. I wouldn't rule out a Cruiserweight Title match like Jamie Noble v Billy Kidman or something either.

Guest Idiot Hive Report post Posted July 17, 2002 it might just be me, but all together I think the Vengeance card, isnt all that bad and quite possibly has the potential to be the better ppv of the year if not done right, a cena-jericho match would be quite nice. dont stone me I am undeserving. Guest Diesel Report post Posted July 17, 2002 I hope Nash makes an appearence talking about his injury and then they show a video package on Nash's career.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted July 17, 2002 Taker vs. Rock vs. Angle COULD be good, as long as Taker has his working boots on. I'd also like it more if it was 3 way elimination. That way if Taker isn't going over, they could get him out of the picture early, and make room for the undoubtedly awesome Rock vs. Angle match. Booker vs. Big Show has potential to climb above DUD. I'm not sure who will go over, because Bischoff has always been a Big Show fan. He called him "Giant" on Raw, too. I hope Booker gets the push though. Big Show just needs to be the guy who comes out and chokeslams everyone when the crowd is bored. Rob Van Dam vs. Brock Lesnar obviously has the potential to hit at least ***, probably more if they really want to. I hope Lesnar goes over here but drops the title shot later to RVD on Raw. Lance Storm & Christian vs. Edge & Hulk Hogan could be good as long as they keep Hogan out of the ring for the most part. They're using Hogan perfectly now. Storm & Xian NEED to go over, too. Jamie Noble vs. Billy Kidman should kick 100 different kinds of ass as long as they give them 10-15 minutes. William Regal vs. Jeff Hardy could be okay as long as they let Regal beat the shit out of Hardy and win the title back. I don't like the idea of Benoit & Guerrero vs. The Dudleys being a tables match. I think it would be better as a normal match. Hopefully Bubba goes through a table early and we get to see Guerrero and Benoit pick apart Spike for a few minutes. I'd mark out for a top rope dragon suplex through the table by Benoit. That's 7 matches.. one more would be easy to fit on there. It SHOULD be something like Rey Jr. vs Tajiri... but with our luck it's Bradshaw vs. Johnny the Bull for the Hardcore title, or another Test vs. Rikishi classic
Guest Brian Report post Posted July 17, 2002 I hope Nash never returns, but hey, we can all dream can't we.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted July 17, 2002 OOH! Knoble/Kidman! Maybe they can do a variation of the thrilling KotR Knoble/Hurricane
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 18, 2002 OOH! Knoble/Kidman! Maybe they can do a variation of the thrilling KotR Knoble/Hurricane Or at least have more "true" cruiserweight moves that I don't know... like the "flippy floppy armdrag" AKA the Flying Space Tiger Drop. Hmmm... actually speaking of which, I wonder if I'll have any matches to review on Saturday or if it's just going to be a PPV shill.
