Interview With Trish Stratus...

Great interview. I'm glad you expressed to her that you're not a fan of the "fat ass" angle.

The "fat ass" angle always bothered me, but JR's Snicker comment is what really turned me against it. When Trish said, "The funny thing is that her ass really isn't that big." I was thinking, "THAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE STORYLINE!!" Instead I calmly replied with, "That's what I'm always thinking."

Hey Rob, sorry to drag you into the muck, but you probably say that Downhome and I have had a little intellectual exchange on the last page, and I was just wondering what you thought, since you did the interview. I say Trish is more trustworthy than any anonymous "insider", and Downhome says she's lying to protect her job and that he'd trust an insider over a wrestler anyday. Which side do you agree with, and why?

First of all, I disagree with Downhome thinking Trish would lie to protect her job. BUT I also don't think that she would tell me EXACTLY what happened that afternoon if it was overly negative, not because she is afraid of losing her job, but because she probably doesn't think that is any of our business.

The WWE has to have a policy when it comes to interviews and I'm pretty sure part of that policy would include not disclosing backstage matters to the general public. Do I think Trish lied? No. Do I think Trish was afraid of losing her job? No, because if she was she easily could have ignored the question all together. In the end I think that she was just following the rules that the WWE set for interviews.

We'll never know for sure, but IF Trish knows about the HHH stuff, if she sees it, if it's true at all, I'm damn sure he would not tell you in an interview that she thinks it's wrong, that she thinks HHH is doing the wong thing, that's he's a dog, that it's all true. If all of that is true though, then she most certainly would lie and say otherwise, to protect her job. How can some not see that? I would do it, you would do it, and I assure you that anyone "in the business" would/does it also. I mean...

...something this retarded is not worth risking your job over it, and everyonw knows that.

If she was worried about losing her job don't you think she simply would have not answered the question. It would have been easier to say, "I can't talk about that," than fabricating a lie.

The real "truth" in all this is the first part of her answer, "The internet blew this whole thing out of proportion, as usual."

In the end, think what you want, it doesn't effect me either way.

Ok, let's say rumors on the Internet get around that you killed six people. Some asks you if you murdered six people. Which is the least suspicious response:

A. I can't talk about that.

B. The Internet doesn't know what it's talking about.

If you answered A, do you think people would be more or less inclined to believe you?

I am not saying the crap about HHH is 100% true. Only the backstage people know for sure, and they ain't saying. What I am saying, is that "The internet blew this whole thing out of proportion, as usual" hardly disproves any of the stories.

You can't compare this to murder.

I'm not, it's just an example. It would apply to any rumor. Saying "I can't talk about it" makes it look even more likely that it's true IMO, because it implies there IS something to talk about. A reply of "Those whacky internet guys and their rumormongering" is a more successful way of glossing over any unpleasant things you don't want brought to light.

Not that I'm saying Trish is lying (Jeez, this whole thread has become way too complicated. I'm giving up after this post). I just feel that Trish's comments might disarm the rumours about HHH a little, but certainly don't disprove them.
