Can you do a...

Ok, you ready for my question? Wait, it's nothing all that great, all I'm wondering is if you can do a simple kip-up. :D :D :D I know some very athletic people, both guys and gals, who have never been able to do it, even though it looks easy if you are in good enough shape. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in the best shape in the world (I am however training to in order to either join the Armed Forces or dive into a career of Law Enforcement, from there I WILL begin Pro. Wrestling training up here near NWA Wildside) but I do wish to one day to be able to do what looks to me to be a simple move. So guys...

...can ya do a kip-up?

Sincerely,

...Downhome...

Uhhh... what's a kip-up?

(for those about to laugh at me, remember I also didn't recognize a Michinoku Driver or Space Flying Tiger Drop last week on Velocity, so I'm not an expert in moves like some on this board are :P)

a kip up is what the Rock, HBK, or cruisers do....they go from their back and they roll their body back and kick themselves up so they land on their feet....

THERE WAS A SPACE FLYING TIGER DROP ON VELOCITY~! now I have to start watching...

HMMM..... well it looks like so far im the only one here who can do one. Its really not about how hard you kick, its about the form of your back when your doing it.

I can do a kip-up. I taught myself after watching the Rockers do it in a match vs. the Harts on SNME when I was 15.

I can still do one now, even at a "fighting trim" 260...

Oh! OK, I've tried it a few times but I don't know how to angle myself or whatever so I can't do it. I wish I knew how to breakdance, but last time I learned I did it on my non-padded floor, and I messed up a hand-stand, and, well... let's just say I gave myself a brainbuster, and it HURT!

Yes, I can still do it.

Though I tend to bust my ass a lot more than when I was like 18.

i can do it, but its more a 50-50 chance of landing on my ass or face first than actually land it, but i can do it
