Guest swan Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Not my favorite band in the world but they did have a cool trashy 80's sound to them. http://www.blistering.com/news/newsdet.php3?ID=3408
Guest MrRant Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 Not my favorite band in the world but they did have a cool trashy 80's sound to them. http://www.blistering.com/news/newsdet.php3?ID=3408 I bought their first album and then they just up and disapeared.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 They put out another cd after that...remember the song "Ridin" I liked their singles...just never thought to buy a cd by them though
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 I loved Buckcherry, but I thought they broke up a long time ago, shortly after the abysmal sales of their Time Bomb CD? I know Yogi left around then, and Yogi was a pretty good guitarist...
Guest Incandenza Posted July 17, 2002 Report Posted July 17, 2002 I saw them live last year. Good show, but I was never moved to buy one of their albums.
Guest razazteca Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 I thought that Buckcherry was a great band but being a tribute hair band in the age of pop punk and nu metal and emo got them nowhere. That full back tatoo of Jack of Hearts, on the lead singer is the best tatoo I ever seen. That song that was on MTV was sweet but apperently noone of the Carson Daly faithful seem to like it.
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 I was just about to buy their album and look for tour dates, too. Damn it.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 With Beautiful Creatures and Andrew WK, I think party-rock is coming back...
Guest Vyce Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 Too bad. I appreciate any band that blatantly sings about their love of coke.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 Yeah. Past singing "I lub the co-caine, I lub the co-caaaaaaaine", there really isn't a lot to miss from Buckcherry. Nonetheless, it's always sad to see a band go.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 Geez, hate to see so many indifferents to the band here (well, at least Kinetic hasn't posted, I know he hates the band just like he hates The Marvelous 3)... while their second CD was "all right", their self-titled CD is one of my favorites. It's got a lot of great songs on it, besides "Lit Up". I especially like "Dirty Mind", "Check Your Head", and "For the Movies".
Guest La Parka Es Mi Papa Posted July 20, 2002 Report Posted July 20, 2002 [With Beautiful Creatures and Andrew WK, I think party-rock is coming back... ] I swear to god that Andrew WK is the Antichrist..... Buckcherry was a great band, and it was a shame to see them go.
Guest Human Fly Posted July 20, 2002 Report Posted July 20, 2002 With Beautiful Creatures and Andrew WK, I think party-rock is coming back... Andrew W.K. is okay, but BC sucks. They need to quit lying about their age too, everyone knows they aren't in their 20s.
