Back in the old days my grandfather used to come back from the store with a new LJN figure for me every week. Once after a trip to Canada, he came back with the British Bulldogs which seems to be kind of rare. Anyway my question is, how much did these cost in stores back in the late 80s? I just looked through an old WWF mag from '89 that was advertising them as being $16.95 each, but I figure retailers had them much cheaper.

I wish those things were still around. I had probably 25 of them growing up including ones like hogan, demolition, hart foundation, andre the giant, and all the other huge stars from that time. i had the ring a cage too and i would play with them today if my day hadn't tossed them away so many years ago.

 

i don't think they actually went for $16.99 but you never know. they weren't actually sold in stores when I started collecting them so I don't have any idea what they would have cost. i know they are fucking expensive now if you look on the net.
