Funny Steve Austin moment

Recommended Posts

Guest TheSmarkzone

Austin comes out of the entrance tunnel and he's taking a big, nervous deep breath like, "Okay, you're about to headline your first big WWF pay-per-view, it's The Garden, and you're wrestling Bret Hart in his comeback match...you can do this." Then he spots the camera man and he quickly puts on his BMF face.

nice to know he didn't always think of himself as bigger than the wwe.

Bret just stuck around long enough to actually get screwed, same difference.

i disagree. bret was a great company man and afer the years he put in the the wwf he didn't deserve what he got.

Didn't someone call Bret the #2 backstage politician of all time. That's a pretty outrageous claim, if you ask me.

Bret Hart thought he was bigger than the WWF when he refused to job to Michaels.

Is that right? Thank god you were there.

I couldn't of responded to that simple minded claim any better myself.

Bret Hart was loyal to his employer and his fans, that is obvious. Morals and principles obviously have very little relevance in the world of Vince McMahon, judging by the way he treated Bret, HOWEVER i could argue his side as well..but for fuck sakes Taker Mark, your getting off the subject.

That Steve Austin thing was well spotted, and damn funny :D

This has been the Taker Mark

Kevin Nash rules, you know it

I apologise fro bringing up that tired old argument, I think we have all spoken our peices on Steve, Bret, etc.

I have never actually seen Survivor Series 1996, nor Wrestlemania 13, so I will definetly have to pick those up considering my two favorites of all time went at it in matches some consider the best ever.

With that little reference, it is even more of an incentive.

Hilarious sig Taker, you deliver once again.

Anyone know where I can find tapes of those 2 matches I mentioned above?

I noticed that too, but I always dug how he looked walking down the aisle. His facial expressions and head movements just strike me as cool for some reason. He's looking at the camera and he's not all badass, he just seems like he's some badass, some cocky, and a little bit of nerves.

Go back and watch his facials around february of this year on, big difference. He lost all motivation and character. He needed something new and if he would have gotten it, I think we would have been in for some entertaining shit, but no sense in crying over spilled milk now is there?

I guess you didn't see the point I was making. I wrote that one sentence response because I find it ridculous to say that Austin thought he was bigger than the WWF, and I intended to show that by making another statement that could be interpreted as just as ridiculous.

Respect the Taker, I'm sorry for being so simple minded.

Definately. It seems almost as soon as the NWO got into the WWF, he just lost total intrest in being a pro wrestler.

what austin did was something that maybe vince would do if he didn't want to get to work. he obviously thought there was a separate set of rules for him that was different from all the other wrestlers and he just packed up, took his wife, and fucked off. too me that isn't someone who exactly is there for the best of the company. the least he could have done was remained in the building and tried to talk his difference out instead of running back to texas to hide and never be heard from again.

Maybe he figured that things would never be fixed so why bother looking back? Also, we don't really know what happened with Austin walking out, we just heard one side of the story.
