Guest treble charged Report post Posted July 18, 2002 Depends how much time and effort you put into the original post. If it's something that's only word or two, then it wouldn't bother me that much, but if I had spent the better part of 20 minutes or so thinking it out, typing it, spell checking, etc., and no one responded, it would piss me off quite a bit. Guest Nezbyte Report post Posted July 18, 2002 It would've been funny if no one replied to this. Oh, i dont add to the topic. That's taboo.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted July 18, 2002 I go off on a rant on why now one posted. Then usually when someone sees that at least someone else posted in your topic... then the posts come in.
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted July 18, 2002 but you know many people won't go into a topic saying "what is killing the business of wrestling" and you get 0 or little replies, then you get 59 posts in "HHH was seen talking to Nash" according to Dave Meltzer. Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted July 18, 2002 my posts either explode (how old are you) or die (why did Austin cross the road?)
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 19, 2002 When there are very few replies to my topic, I chalk it up to people just not being able to contribute anything helpful, and although that's a bit of a drag, it's better than some flame-baiting or smart-ass comments. Also, even though I've probably made it sound differently in other posts, even though I put stock into the opinions I get from the board, it's not as if they're my sole driving force. Guest Incandenza Report post Posted July 19, 2002 The closest I have ever come to being disappointed with the response to a thread I started would be the underwhelming reaction to my mini-essay on why Edge = Chris Benoit. I wrote it during the Angle/Edge feud a couple of months ago as a response to all those people who thought Angle was feuding with someone "beneath his league." It was very well-reasoned, and feature a surprising number of similarities between Angle's feud with Edge and Angle's feud with Benoit around the same time the previous year. The only people who conceded that I had a good point were NOT the same people who kept bitching about Edge, but hey, getting some people to give you props when they disagree with you is like extracting teeth. But, none of them said I was wrong, either, so maybe they knew I was right and just didn't want to admit it. That wouldn't surprise me.
Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted July 19, 2002 I get kind of down but then I just kind of realize no one wanted to discuss my topic. Now, what REALLY pisses me off is when someone NO - SELLS a post! Totally doesn't respond at all to your comment, etc. and just goes on about something else, and then everyone responds to their post! I hate it when a person doesn't even say I agree or yeah, or just something! No-selling posts sucks ass!
Guest M Nyland Report post Posted July 19, 2002 Why did Austin cross the road? Cause there's no midcard over there....
Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted July 19, 2002 That was uncalled for. Usually if you just bump your post your are likely to get a few more replies each time.
