I don’t know what to do

I don’t know how I feel towards you

I don’t know what is going through my mind

I don’t know if things will work out this time

 

I think I messed up things between us

But I don’t feel bad about it

It’s not like I did it on purpose

But I don’t care to try to fix it

 

Today you told me it’s over

And I did nothing more than smile

It’s almost like I’d been waiting for those words

For quite a while

 

I still remember the hurt in your voice

And the tears in your eyes

It’s like you thought the sun had set forever

Never again to rise

 

But let me assure you, baby,

The sun will rise again

And when you realize this

You’ll be much happier in the end

Some Day

 

Some days I think what it’ll be like to touch you.

Some days I think what it’ll be like to kiss you.

The days I think to myself enter my mind in a flood.

Without you with me, my body feels dead.

I would do anything for you, if only you make this dream come true.

Our love would be true, and I wouldn’t do anything to harm you.

The way I look at you, you never notice.

The things I say to you, you’ll never understand.

You’re a big woman, that’s hurting a man.

How do you do what you to do me, I really don’t know.

Maybe one day I’ll get the courage to you ask you to be mine.

Some days I feel ill, but somehow you give me the will.

As I wake up and think to myself, "Is this that day?"

"Or is this just another some day?"

That wasn't bad at all, Flyboy. Really good ending in my opinion. And some lines were really good (The way I look at you, you never notice. - The things I say to you, you’ll never understand. ~ for some reason I like that one). You should continue.

I wrote it when I had a very intense crush on this gril at my school.. and pretty much everything in the poem happened. I use to say things that went right over her head, heh. But, it wasn't meant to be.

 

Oh well... my first love (my ex) is who I'm focusing on now, anyhow.
