Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted July 18, 2002 From WWE.com: Vince McMahon shocked the world of sports entertainment when he announced that Eric Bischoff was the new general manager for RAW. This Saturday on Confidential, we'll take a look at the career of Bischoff -- from his start in the American Wrestling Association to World Championship Wrestling to his present day role in WWE. He will also be on Byte this on Friday.

Guest Gendo Report post Posted July 18, 2002 I hope they put that WCW tape library to good use and show him screwing with the WWF back in that day. It would be good to see some of that stuff all over again.

Guest converge241 Report post Posted July 18, 2002 id love to see a montage of all those non-spoiler giveaways. too bad they cant AWA stuff we could see the "turkey on a pole match"
Guest TestKick Report post Posted July 18, 2002 They'll still have the Torrie Wilson junk in there... Confidential has always saved time for that garbage. I'll watch this week. I just they focus on Bischoff's entire career, and not base most of it on how WWF kicked his ass in the end.
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted July 18, 2002 Even if they can't SHOW AWA stuff, I'm sure they can interview some guys who worked with him at the time.

Guest Army Eye Report post Posted July 19, 2002 Cool. I haven't been watching much Confidential but I'll have to catch this one.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted July 19, 2002 Yay, more revisionist history from confidential. While Bischoff did have seem interesting ideas and had a hand in influencing wrestling, the way the WWE takes this stuff, butchers it so it fits what they're trying to do, and then tries to pass it off as some kind of shoot interview is really quite ridiculous. The fact that they had Michaels go on there and lie his ass off about Montreal just so people could be suprised when he returned pretty much sent the show into the crapper, for me. But then again, looks like most people still look forward to watching it, pick your poison, I guess. And to whoever referenced them giving away Foley's title win: that was long after Bischoff had dropped the "give away Raw Spoilers" deal and as Foley said in his book, was a total failure in every sense of the word, managing to cause tons of people to switch over to Raw and kill Tony's credibility from that point forward.
