Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted July 19, 2002 So EZE claims that TRIPLE H is the man that would have turned WCW around...well WHO WOULDNT wanna sit through Nash vs Triple H, Scott Steiner vs Triple H & Sid Vicious vs Triple H...my god, the excitement is causing me to shake.................... If you take yourself back to the period where WCW started to really fail, around 2000, and put yourself in the position of Ted Turner. Who would YOU want more than anything in order to save your dying company? Personally...I would choose The Rock, as i believe he actually COULD have saved WCW if he were in it...but he wasn't...and it died. However, im sure everyone else has differing opinions in terms of who would have re-elevated WCW back onto the WWE's level. Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted July 19, 2002 It probably would have been as simple as hiring the Rock, Mick Foley, Triple H, Stone Cold, Vince McMAhon, Brisco, Patterson, Edge & Christian, X-pac, The Hardys, Road Dogg... [insert entire WWF 2000 roster here] .... Lita, Chyna, Big Show, and the Undertaker. (Let me say, I don't think the Rock would have turned it around on his own... first off, the Rock was a WWF creation, so if he had been in WCW there would have been no Rock, and if he jumped to WCW as The Rock, Vince WOuldn't have let him use that name, so he would have probably been Rocky T or some stupid crap like that, Booker T's samoan half-brother. (Like Ahmed Johnson was used)
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted July 19, 2002 They should have used this man for the skills he had and the over all great talent he was ~~~>>
Guest ryankeast Report post Posted July 19, 2002 There is NO way Dwayne Johnson would have saved WCW all on his own. If WCW actually came up with good ideas of their own at this time and booked feuds well I think they may still be here today. They should have pushed guys like Rave, like Beniot, like Guerreo, like Malenko, like Saturn, like Shane Douglas it isn't that hard to do IS IT?? A Beniot/Bret Hart feud would of kicked ass. Sid/Goldberg if booked correctly would have done big business. The marks would have loved that if Sid was booked as Goldbergs equal. So many others but I can't be bothered to go through them all. I do believe they did push ole Benoit...but it was too little too late, as he took off for the WWF and never looked back... Oh well, they only have themselves to blame... Guest ryankeast Report post Posted July 19, 2002 Yeah they did push Beniot to some degree, but they should have pushed him two or a year earlier. Him and Bret engaged in a feud would have torn the house down. (Concussions put aside of course)

Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted July 19, 2002 Austin, if they got him in 1997 or 1998, before he had to take a year off due to injury. Austin vs. Vince saved the WWF. Without that feud, the WWF goes under.
Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Report post Posted July 19, 2002 Austin and Rock I know they suck but they are the only two that could have said that shithole.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted July 19, 2002 Its not about who would have saved them, its about what would have killed the WWF. This means around that time when WWF was at a alltime low and the NWO had just started. I say that if they had pulled Shawn Michaels away from the WWF, it would have basically been over. He already wasn't the biggest draw while champ, but he kept people watching. OF course, if WCW had pulled Bret and he never had a chance to get screwed., there never would have been a evil Vince Character and that would have negated the Austin/McMahon character. So I say either Shawn Michaels or Bret Hart before the screw job.
