What matches could have been *****?

Matches that you wish happened but the guys never seemed to meet.

What ones do you think could have in the ****1/2-***** range?

The one that i always wished happened was "Steamboat v Liger". Im certain that if they met around 90-92 it would have been ****3/4 to *****.

Or pick guys that met in their careers but were past there primes and couldent go like they used to. For example "Hogan v Flair" in 85 would have been a lot better than their WCW stuff.

I think any combination of Sting, HBK, and Benoit could have ruled.

HBK v Benoit

HBK vs Sting

Sting vs Benoit

I think those three matches in a non WCW environment and proper build could have rocked the house.

Flyin Brian and HBK: That would be my ultimate mark out match.

Bret Hart Vs Sting: I was boycotting WCW by the time they actually fought, and from what I heard, nothing was too mind-blowing. I always wanted to see them go as a kid.

It kinda sucks...because a lot of the matches you guys put down...actually DID happen...in one form or another...see...it was just that almost all of them were at the wrong time...

Yeah if you look at WCW on paper around 1997-1998 you would wonder how they ever went out of business. then just actually watch the matches.

WCW/nWo Revenge does it justice though, God I love that game!
