Chyna Vs Sable...

Ok, now I know people usually get turned off when I talk about Chyna, but hear me out for a minute...

 

Okay...in that masterpiece of a book written by the great Joanie Laurer, she breifly mentioned a little situation between she and Rena Mero on an episode of Off the Record or something like that. Does anyone know the full story of what happened and exactly what was said? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think she was referring to the gallagher show from tsn in canada. sable, chyna, and another diva, maybe debra appeared on the show in february of 1999 and during it sable and chyna had a few spats back and forth at each other.

i think it was an argument that started with chyna saying that she would never go for the woman's title and that she was above it.

I disagree with you 100% and that's not just the bias talking. Sable was glorified eye candy with only real move (the Sable Bomb) and the occasional highspot thrown in (TKO or Huracanrana). Chyna, on the other hand, while she was no Benoit, she was a pretty solid wrestler who with the right opponents was more than capable of having **-*** matches. Say what you will about their popularity, looks, charisma, but in the ring, Sable wasn't in Chyna's league.

chyna was solid in the ring. for the talent she possessed she did a pretty decent job for a woman performer.

Sable/Mero Vs Luna/Goldust was pretty good, but yeah Sable sucked.

her feud with jarrett was her best. the one with jericho was horrible and a waste of his time.

I liked most of the Jericho feud, but yeah, Jarrett got some good stuff out of her. She had some good Tag matches in 2000 with Too Cool @ WM and with Eddie against E and C in the summer.

 

And I still say Chyna Vs Lita was a better match than people give it credit for. It was better than Sable and Tori, at least.

Chyna had decent singles matches with Jarrett, Jericho, and a couple with Val Venis. And she was fairly inoffensive in a lot of tag matches. But when she started losing muscle and wrestling women... *FLUSH*

chyna and eddie made a terrific pair and it would have been nice to see the team last a little bit longer than it did. remember gtv with eddie and the ho's in the shower?

Yeah, Eddie and Chyna were good together, but I laughed my ass off when they broke up. Seeing Eddie hit Billy Gunn in the head with that bottle was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I think Chyna was fairly competent until she had all the surgery, which killed any mobility or credibility she had.

yeah maybe i was wrong come to think of it, mind u sable used to do a goood huricanrana off the top rope.

 

but there was something about chynas wrestling i didnt like, but i cant put my finger on it, the way she took bumps was starnge. hmm ill have 2 go back and watch some of her matches.

 

maybe im biased also, i liked chyna until she did that interview where she trashed all the other women wrestlers-did any1 read it? i can't remember what magazine it was in
