I know you guys have some favorite moments or favorite lines...

 

my favortie line:

 

Zack: okay, if the teacher doesn't show up in 5 seconds, I'm invoking the 5 second rule...

 

some kid (i think maybe Jessie) : what's the 5 second rule?

 

Zack: well if the teacher isn't here in 5 seconds, we can all leave...

 

starts counting down, gets to about 2 when Mr. Belding walks in the room

 

Belding: 5 second rule, eh Morris?

 

Zack: how did you know? i just made it up!

 

 

I don't know why but I always thought that was a funny line, and i tend to use the 5 second rule a lot!

YES! This was the hilarious scene where Screech was trying on bathing suits for a "Chessboy Pool Party", and he stripped to his skivvies in the middle of the hall, asking Violet (his nerdy g/f) for her opinion. Belding comes by, whistling, happy as a mofo, stops, says "I'd wear the blue ones, cuz they match your eyes", then proceeds to walk away whistling, like he never said anything.

 

As for my faves (other than that:)

 

College Years:When Slater kisses another girl, Christy, behind Alex's back, Leslie wants him to reveal himself. He refuses, but she eggs him on. Alex walks in on the conversation...

 

Slater:"I went to the car show with someone today."

Alex:"Who?"

Slater:"Chris."

Leslie (jumping in):"T!"

Slater:"No thanks, I'm drinking Orange Juice."

 

The timing on it was perfect.

 

And on the New Class, the episode where Zack, Slater and Lisa come to save Bayside from being torn down ruled. I wish I had that one on tape.

 

But as for my favorite original scenes...

 

When Zack puts the wig on the skeleton so he can sneak out of detention. Belding goes to "wake him up", then pulls up the skeleton.

 

The subliminal message tapes episode, where Zack is being chased by all the "brainwashed" girls.

 

Slater:"HEY! Just back off all right...he's going to the dance with me!"

that was classic slapstick boy vs. girl comedy...

My favorite was of course the one where Slater and Zach got into the fight and Zach got his ass kicked. I loved that for so many reason i cant devulge right now. I cant even remember why they even fought, but it was good TV none the less.

i dunno, I always thought Zack got the better of that fighter, Slater seemed to show more wear and tear than Zack did, wasn't it a fat lip compared to a shiner? I dunno...Zack Malibu, enlighten us...

One of my favorite episodes is the "Senior Class Ring" episode. Zach gets swindeled by some sleazy jewel salesman. The best part of the ep. is when they get the guy over to The Max and Screech shows up in Karate gear. Then proceeds to take out Zach and Slater. They all get new rings and Screech ends up with a bunch of chicks. Great stuff.

 

One of my fav. lines is in an episode that was on the other morning. They were competing buisnesses. Buddy Bands and Friendship Forever. After a blow up they make up and try to make some money. The line goes:

 

Zach: "this baby was a good idea and so was this baby, if we put them together maybe a new baby can be born"

 

Screech: "i gotta go"

 

Kelly: Why?

 

Screech: "My Mom wants to be the one to tell me how babies are born"

 

I could go on and on about that great show, I catch it on TBS whenever i can.

The one where that famous guy comes to Bayside to film a PSA, and the gang finds out he's a pot-head:

"Gee guys, I think we should tell Belding about this one..."

Plus, the way Diamond would twist his own arm cracks me up everytime.

I'm pretty sure that Zack threw the first punch, and that Slater tried to wrestle him down, so I'd have to say that Slater may have "blown up". And the fight was over the new girl at school. Both of them had made passes to her, but neither one knew the other liked her. When she showed up at The Max, they both started shit with each other to impress her, and they didn't stop fighting until they dropped Belding's wig into the punch bowl at the dance.
