Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Anyone else see it this weekend. I saw it twice, once baked, and once not-baked and it was histerical both times. The Broken Lizard team does a terrific job with the movie and it is easily one of the funniest movies I have seen in 10 years. Anyone else's thoughts? Guest teke184 Report post Posted February 20, 2002 It was really good, but doesn't approach the level of Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back, which had me laughing the hardest I've ever laughed in a movie theater. The only problem I see with Super Troopers is that it's too slow at times and has a lot of the really good jokes clustered together instead of spread throughout the movie. Best parts of the movie- European couple Hot blonde dispatcher The three teenage stoners Fights with the city cops Psychotic state trooper's attacks on fast food employees, etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

There were an assload of production gaffes (you could literatly the boom mike bobbing up and down during some scenes). But I agree, it is up there with Wet Hot American Summer in favorite comedies. But my favorite parts were the "games" like the meow game and when Farver (sp) just went up to the old couple and said, "LISENCE AND REGISTRATION.... CHICKENDICK!" Also the end, as it just felt right. On a side note, I saw it in a theater in Brattleboro, VT which was mentioned in the movie... the best part about that was that NO ONE in the audience realized that, except for my room mate and I, who drove from A DIFFERENT STATE TO SEE IT!
