Guest CB2M Report post Posted February 20, 2002 <<Chris Benoit vs Otani (Super J Cup Final)>> This is actually the Best of the Super Junior '95 Final (the 1995 Super J Cup final on 12/13/95 was Liger vs. Gedo). Anyway, good match, but not one of my favorite Benoit/Ohtani bouts. <<AJ TV 7-30-95 Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada (PWF/UN/Intl Titles)>> GREAT match. I'd say ****3/4. Guest Jubuki Report post Posted February 20, 2002 The weeks of TV right after the ones you're getting are also worth seeing - NJPW had the great Hash vs. Mutoh final to the G1, while AJPW had Misawa vs. Taue. Both are very much worth tracking down.
Guest Tim Cooke Report post Posted February 20, 2002 "while AJPW had Misawa vs. Taue" Quite the match. It has been documented before about Taue's rise to greatness throughout 1995 starting in April of that year with the Carnival, but this match is often over shadowed sometimes by their 4/15 match. The 9/10 is so smart and just so much fun. It was almost like Misawa and Taue just went out there and said, let's just do our thing and kick out another MOTYC. This match, along with the 4/8 v Kawada, 4/15 v Kawada, 6/9 w/ Kawada v MIsawa/Kobashi, and 10/15 w/ Kawada v Misawa/Kobashi are so rewarding to watch in order and see the once akward, yet spirited Taue take akwardness and replace it with greatness. Guest CB2M Report post Posted February 20, 2002 4/15 v Kawada This is Taue vs. Misawa, just for the record.
Guest Jubuki Report post Posted February 20, 2002 It was probably a typo, just for the record.
Guest CB2M Report post Posted February 21, 2002 It was probably a typo, just for the record. I know that... I just pointed it out in case somebody else reading it may have gotten confused. Jeez, the sarcasm is just running wild.
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Thanks for pointing that out. I probably would have posted about it later but you saved me time
