Wrestlers You Met

Recommended Posts

Guest KurtsBaby02

What wrestlers have you meant and were they big assholes or nice and down to earth?

People I Have Met:

Flair - Asshole (I met him at a Wawa (7-11 kind of) and I saw him and was like "You're Ric Flair!" and he was like "Thats what my licsense says." and left.

Nash - Nice (Met him at a hotel in Philly and talked to him for a while before he left for a show)

Angle - Nice (Met him while he was training for the Olympics in 95 at Foxcatcher Farms. He was really nice and hilarious!)

Stacy Keibler - Bitch! (I met her at a restruant like a year ago and she was a complete bitch I felt like punching her in her face and shutting her the fuck up)

This is from a RAW/Nitro I went to....

Lex Luger - Great guy. Gave me a autograph and everything. Some guy who worked at the arena (Nassau) came up and talked to me about how nice Luger was.

Booker T - Great also. Gave fans (Me) an Autograph and let some kids hold the WCW Title and take pictures.

The Wall/Whatever his name is now in TNA - Nice. I didnt get his autograph, but I was talking to him a bit.

Jeff Jarrett - Great Great Guy. He came out of the locker room, and I was standing there with my "Slapnuts" t-shirt on. He saw me and went "Hey Slapnuts" and I went into total shock. Got his autograph and talked to him a bit.

Lela Meow (whatever her name is) - My dad hit on her, ugh. Funny, but...ugh.

Torrie Wilson - Read above....ugh.

Shane McMahon - He was great. I got backstage before a Raw, and I guess he was planning the show out. Didnt say much, just gave me a autograph.

Rikishi - Nice. He seemed to be in a rush, but gave me his autograph.

Mick Foley - barely knowticed me or my little brother. But when you have an annoying little 10 year old jumping infront of you, the only thing you can do is give a autograph.

Taker - Seemed kinda of snobish. But he was walking out of the arena (with an Unmasked Kane), and I got his autograph, but when I asked for a picture, some guy came up and said No.

Steph - Nicest person I met in the wrestling buisness. She is great (and sooooooo hot) She didnt just give my brother an autograph, she wrote a whole page in my autograph book, and stood around a bit, and talked a bit. NICE. Thats why I HATE people who flame her.

Godfather - I HOPE YOU FUCKING DIE. YOU FUCKING SON OF A BITCH. YOUR NEVER GONNA GET A PUSH AND YOU WILL NEVER BE SOMEBODY. GO KILL YOURSELF YOU FUCKING DICK.

Shane Douglas was a pretty nice guy when I met him once in a restaurant.

I once saw Tommy Dreamer when he was in ECW shopping in some department store and about 10 people approached him for autographs and he was nice to everyone.

Kurt Angle lives on the same street as me so I see him around fairly often. I see him a lot in this ice cream place near his wife's beauty salon and he also is nice to everyone.

Bubba Dudley is a total asshole. I actually saw him tell someone "Fuck off" after asking for an autograph only once.

Okay-

Bret Hart- Met him at an autograph signing. Very nice

Benoit- He was awesome. I flashed the 4 fingers and told him I was 4 Horsemen 4 life and he was like: Yea

Taker: Very cool- we talked about the urn

Rhyno: Super nice guy- he talked to everyone.

XPac: I've met him three times now. He's ok

Justin Credible: A bit of a dick

Scotty II Hotty: Me: Is the Worm Race gonna be in the 2004 Olympics? S2H: Maybe in the special olympics

Hardy Boyz: I met them as TLC1 was playing in the background. Both nice guys.

Tommy Dreamer: Cool guy.

Spike Dudley: Also cool- saw them go into eat at The World

Booker T: I passed up meeting Hulk Hogan to meet the Bookerman and he did not dissapoint. Really cool guy.

Hurricane: Saw him after RAW is HHH- really cool.

Molly: I've met her twice and each time she was very sweet

Terri: Don't bring up the York foundation with her. Bitch

I've also stood next to the APA, Albert, Ivory and Linda McMahon. And now I must devote a seperate post to your God and mine William Regal

I also stood right near Hogan.

Okay now the famous Regal story-

I got there at 8am to meet Sir William- 4 hrs early. I wanted to be one of the first in line which I was. Anyway the dude ended up being late but made up for it in a big way. He comes down and is sitting at the table as I am very close to meeting him. He looks over at the line and I do like tyhe gayest wave ever. He responds with the Regal Wave. AWESOME!

So I go up to meet Regal and I tell him to let Tajiri go on his own and bring back Sir William. He does a Regal face and goes: are you mad?? and then cuts a promo on why Sir William sucks all while trying not to crack up. This is in front of everyone mind you.

It was just the greatest celebrity encounter I've ever had (save for Tina Fey and my three hugs) and is more proof that Regal is God

The Bushwhackers: Assholes!

Jimmy Snuka: Really nice guy. Seemed like he fired up a bowl before the autograph signiing though.

George "The Animal" Steele: Really polite guy.

HBK & Nash: Met them both at the same time, they were nice and went out of their way to meet the fans.

Goldust: Like one of the guys above said about someone, he sent some guy to tell everyone to leave him alone.

I met Booker T as he got off the BUS for a show down here in Iowa. It was so crazy, i thought that some fans were gonna try and make it to the show via bus, ya know nuthin wrong with that, but then Booker T comes out of the Frickin Bus with his WCW World Title and no one even knows its him. He walks in the buliding and im like the only one who was like, wasnt that Booker T? and no one seemed to care as they were all around Mike Awesome getting Autographs. I got a pic with him and man, thats the nicest man in all of wrestling, he's the real peoples champ!

I also met The Rock back in 97 when he was Rocky Maivia. He jobbed to Owne Hart the next night on RAW i believe, so it was nice to see him with the Intercontinintal Title one more time. Him and D'lo Brown called me BRO!!! :o :o :o

and Finally, i met Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko as they got out of there rent a car. It was so funny cause Benoit was getting his bags and the trunk ended up falling on his head. Malenko told us all to shut the fuck up or he was gonna kick Rey Mysterio's ass. That had to be the funniest shit i ever heard! :D

Tammy "Sunny" Sytch (November 97) - Don't really have an opinion about her...she smiled at me, gave me an autograph and took a picture with me...THE END (it was really quick)

Chuck Palumbo (October 2001) - I am the founding member of the Palumbo Fan club (all 4 of us LOL). I brought a "Chuck Palumbo Fan Club" sign to SmackDown. He was in the dark match with Funaki (and they both got a HUGE pop...I love Montreal...they pop for everybody!) and he could hear me cheering for him like crazy, then he looked at me and saw the sign, smiled and gave me the big thumbs up!

Hurricane (October 2001) - Same story as Palumbo...my friend had done a huge beautiful painting of The Hurricane in his trademark pose (it looked like the cover of a comic book). Helms saw it, smiled, thumbs up! Still have it on tape...AWESOME!

AL SNOW~! (May 2002) - Nicest guy ever...we were at ringside for the Jakked matches...Al Snow was doing "commentary" (lol)...when he didn't have to pretend to commentate, he would turn around and talk to us and pose for pictures!...My friend and I told him we were Tough Enough. Then, he stood up and yelled right at our faces like a TE trainer!

AL: "You think you're tough enough!!!"

US: "YEAH!"

AL: "YEAH?"

US: "YEAH!!!!"

AL: "YEAH???!!!!"

AL and US face-to-face (screaming our lungs out): "YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"...that was funny!

Faarooq (May 2002): Nice guy...my friend went to FSU like Simmons...when we saw him in the parking lot, we chanted "FSU! FSU!". That got his attention! He then came and talked to us for while but he was in a hurry (somebody was waiting for him in a car)

Vince gets booed out of the building! Still a POP though...of the heel kind!

HBK hasn't been back since, although I think he'd get a very mixed reaction in Montreal if he came back! Cheered because he's Shawn F'N Michaels (girly POP!) and booed because of...well COME ON!

edit: Oh yeah! There's a reason Earl Hebner doesn't referee here...forget the match goin on in the ring..."You screwed Bret!" chants from every corner of the arena!!!...Even Brian Hebner isn't safe!!!

Little Guido - Fucking awesome. I met him before a show and marked out for him during his entire match with Kid Kash. Guido won, too.

Kid Kash - Seemed alright. Got an autograph but not much else.

Nova - See Kid Kash.

Balls Mahoney - Funny as hell. He made fun of me for wanting an autograph from Kash or Nova, though. He was just joking, though.

ROB VAN DAM - He seemed cool, and actually talked more than I did. I just got his autograph and left... I was such a huge RVD mark at the time that I was nervous to talk to him (it was after ECW closed, but before the WWF signed him)

I later passed up the opportunity to take a picture and get an autograph from Dawn Marie. Someone put a bullet in my head, right now!

Yes, Palumbo was the man. Back in 2000 in a show he was supposed to wrestle in a three way against Kronic and The Filthy Animals, but he didnt, so we all thought he sucked. Now, thinking that he sucks and telling him that he does are two different things as i found out. Later that night he was going to his car and I went up to him and asked him why he didnt wrestle. He told me it was because Stasiak got hurt, So i was like okay. But me being stupid I said "Or is it because you suck?". Man, ive never been more scared in my life! He grabbed my hat and threw it on the ground and walked away all pissed off. Man, to this day im scared of him, even as a member The Ambiguously Gay Duo.

When WCW was in town to do the Greed PPV, I saw Bam Bam Bigelow and Shane Douglas at a mall. They weren't doing a signing or anything, they were just walking along. Since I liked neither one of them nor wanted their autographs, I said nothing.

Rhyno: Told me to fuck off in a joking manner, got a pic of him.

Rey Mysterio Jr and Kidman: During the New Blood PPV, both of them were on my plane. I didn't really get to talked to Mysterio since he was on the phone, but Kidman is a very cool person to talk with (first class rules). He was talking about how Kanyon and Raven how to do the SSP. Got both of their autographs.

Lance Storm: Great guy, very nice to the people, no autograph of picture since he was in a rush.

D'Lo: Autograph, but this guy is very intelligent speaker, so it was really hard to keep a good conversation with him.

William Regal: Just an autograph.

Stacy Keibler: Bitch, but a hot bitch :D

Sable: Bitch (after p-boy shoot)

I thanked him and got a photo with him which leads me to...

Bret Hart, I got two photos with him and talked to him for 10 minutes about wreslting his career etc....

I also met Stevie Ray (nice), Nathan Jones (REALLY TALL and nice), Bagwell (Nice and funny) Got photos with all of them that day

I met Mick Foley....in Pittsburgh at the Mellon (where HIAC 98 was) and he was one of the nicest people I ever talked to...I didn't get an autograph or picture (no pen or camera) but I was so happy just to see the guy that I almost wet myself...

I saw Paul Wight and all I could say was "damn he is HUGE" to my friend...who quietly agreed as we were in a rush to leave

Mind Games in 96: I "met" Heyman, Dreamer and Sandman before the show. As soon as I walked into the arena, looked down at my ticket, and as soon as I looked up, I saw the 3 of them standing right in front of me, smiling. It was cool as hell, cuz I'm a big ECW mark, but instead of talking to them, I turn to my parents and say "OH MY GOD!! IT'S ECW! ECW IS HERE". And they're all like "Hi!" We basically all just stood there smiling at each other for a minute, and I was too shocked to even ask for an autograph. After we left them, we went to find our seats and I saw 2 guys who from the back looked just like Perry Saturn and Taz (I found out 2 month later that it WAS them!).

House Show in June 97: After Ahmed joined the Nation, they cut an in-ring promo and they got booed out of the building. I was the only one cheering him, and he pointed at me (considering how far away I was from the ring, that was cool as hell)

Raw in Atlantic City (August 97): "Met" Goldust and Terri while they were on their way to shoot a segment on the beach. They pretty much ignored the fans (especially my best friend, who stood there trying to have an actual conversation with Goldust). I didn't see Terri at 1st, and when I said "I wish Marlena was here", she turned and smiled at me (BTW, Goldust is REALLY tall in person, and Terri is REALLY short. Weird, lol). I also saw a newly employed Michael Cole on the Boardwalk (and I was the only one who recognized him).

Raw in Philly August 98: 1 week after I told my friends I'd smack Kevin Kelly if I ever met him, he and his daughter walk right up to me after the show and say "hi". As you can guess, I didn't do shit...but next time...

Anyone ever read the paperback version of Have a Nice Day? If you have, in the last chapter, Mick mentions having to do a signing at a World of Wheels in Huntsville, Alabama. Well, the local radio station gave away backstage passes and using my mom's collection of people's info we use to win and win and win, I got passes for myself, my best friend, and my folks. Mick comes in (wearing a Shark Boy shirt) and sits at a table, talks for a while, and signs.

Mick: Did you enjoy the book?

Me: Yeah! I read it in four days.

Mick: (eyes my parents) What kind of kid did you raise? (to me) What did you think of the Rock's book?

Me: (Making a face) Ehh....it wasn't as good as yours.

Mick: Yeah.

I also said something about Shark Boy, which he liked.

This was also the day before HHHell in a Cell. He's a cool guy. In the book, he says he didn't wanna do the signing, but I couldn't tell at all.

Guest .3.0.7.

at a toronto house show in july 1999, the night before fully loaded, i met the hardy boyz. they were doing an autograph signing and i was first in line, and we stayed just outside the barriers until they were done and they talked to us for awhile. it was pretty cool, they were really nice. of course, this is before anyone cared about them. but i still enjoyed their stuff.

at fan axxess this year, i met hulk hogan. the brief exchange consisted of me asking him how badly he was gona whip the rock's ass, which he smirked at and said "we'll just have to see if he can walk come monday." and i said that i was rootin' for him, like the rest of toronto and he laughed and grabbed my hand and shook it. YEAH, it was cool, especially considering that we thought we were going to meet spike dudley.

i also met molly holly and the hurricane at axxess. they were setting up to do an autograph signing and picture taking thing, and something screwed up with the cameras or something, i duno, but they came to the barrier and i had a short chat with them. they were really nice.
