Ok I didnt want to tell this guy I work with why I didnt go out and party tonight cause I have no life and am a looser cause I didnt feel like explaining it to him. SO I made an excuse of something as to why I couldnt go out. I said I had to BABYSIT!? Now it just came out, but I think by the way he reacted, that it must be more of a girl thing to do. Now damnit, now I am that guy that babysits. Is this no big deal. Dont flame me as I feel stupid enough.

I have to babysit my cousin all the time (he's 4), although you really wouldn't call him a baby. You have nothing to be ashamed of.

It's acceptable either one of two ways:

1. You're doing it for a relative who forced you to, and you had no choice.

2. You got paid a shitload of money for it.

I'd have babysat if I were getting payed. But alas, I settled for mowing lawns and sitting around...

What's wrong with babysitting? It's fun, even if it's not for money. Well, I've never done it for free for anyone other than my relatives or my friend's little brothers/sisters before, so I really wouldn't know, but I'm sure it's still fun.

A manly man such as myself has babysat many times, when I was a strapped-for-cash 7th grader. It was fun! It was just a lot of sitting around, watching TV and playing on the kid's Nintendo.
