Guest MrRant Report post Posted July 21, 2002 Where do you get you DVD's? I get mine mostly at Best Buy, Wal-Mart and the previously viewed rack at Blockbuster at mine you can get some fairly new stuff cheap and in great condition.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted July 21, 2002 Overstock.com has a very limited selection, but what's there goes for great prices.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted July 21, 2002 It depends. Lately, I've been frequenting this pawn shop near my office that gets a regular shipment of stolen Netflix DVDs (they just opened up a distribution center nearby, and they apparently employ some less-than-honest people). So, in the past month & a half, my DVD collection has increased by about 110, for less than $5 each. Best Buy usually has really good sales in the first few days after the DVD has been released. Circuit City just opened a store in my neighborhood, so I guess I'll be checking them out (they didn't seem to have an impressive collection though).
Guest Karnage Report post Posted July 21, 2002 I get most of mine through Future Shop, but my collection will increase once I join Columbia House.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 21, 2002 buy them used at Blockbuster, Hastings, Cd Warehouse, CD Exchange, Hollywood Video, gamestore at the mall for new releases Best Buy is my 1st option then I start looking around town for which store has a better sale. Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted July 21, 2002 Best Buy screws me over when it comes to buying stuff like TVs and computers, plus the nearest one is miles and miles away. Sam Goody, on the other hand, is right down the highway by minutes only. Plus, I have a replay card. I'm also their best customer. So, I'll vote for Suncoast (even though the nearest one is miles away...)because my Replay Card works there.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 21, 2002 the most I ever got out of the Replay card was the initial discount for signing up and a $5 gift certificate.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted July 21, 2002 DeepdiscountDVD.com has good prices and free shipping.
Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted July 21, 2002 I buy the genre stuff from a flea market outside of town. The guy is a distributer and he sells them at wholesale prices, which is close to cost. I buy the current, theatrical stuff from a lady in another flea market who sells stolen DVD's, so I get stuff like Black Hawk Down and Amelie brand new for $15. As for really wierd stuff that is OOP or just really hard to find, I use eBay.
Guest Marshall Report post Posted July 22, 2002 Play.com also has free shiping plus Region 1 &

Guest RobJohnstone Report post Posted July 22, 2002 columbiahouse baby. I talk on another forum that they have an faq, that tell you all the codes so your dvd's average out to $10.22 each. Even like $35 SE's average out that way. If anyone wants that info, PM me and I'll put you on --Rob

Guest starvenger Report post Posted July 22, 2002 I get most of mine from Future Shop, but I found a place in Toronto (well, the GTA) called DVD Wave which sells movies for at least $5 below Future Shop. No wrestling DVDs though...
Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted July 23, 2002 I found a place in Toronto (well, the GTA) called DVD Wave which sells movies for at least $5 below Future Shop. No wrestling DVDs though... I've been buying stuff from him for about 3 years, but I get them from a flea market he goes to on weekends. I find his stuff is even cheaper at the FM than at his store. Guest starvenger Report post Posted July 23, 2002 I'm sure it is. But then, at a flea market, there's room to bargain and there's likely no GST + PST.
