Most of the time when a hair vs. hair match is announced, the loser only gets some of his hair cut. But if the loser really does get a hair cut, then there fine with me.

 

I haven't seen many, but I'll say X-Pac vs. Jeff Jarrett at Summerslam '98. Least favorite was when Mike Awesome got a hair cut. His mullet was gold.

 

I'll like to see Hogan lose the rest of his hair. Or X-Pac.

X pac vs. jarrett was watchable.

The biggest hair vs. hair match from an excitement point was Adonis-Piper from Mania 3. Unfortunately, it gave birth to the Barber gimmick.

Man.  I don't even want to speculate as to how ridiculous Hogan would look without the last lingering remains of his hair.  He looks ridiculous as it is, come to think of it.  Say...this is a little off-topic, but didn't the WWF tease an Ear vs. Eyebrow match between Mankind and Rock a few years back?  *That's* how you do a stupid gimmick match.  Hair doesn't cut it anymore.  You've got to put *appendages* on the line, or at the very least someone's signature.

Jarrett and Christopher had the best match of their respective career in USWA in 1993 and I think it was hair vs. hair, but I'll have to dig up the tape.

It make's for a great storyline for a pretty boy heel character... and it's so simpistic in it's sense... No extra gimmicks needed to be added on to the match... Just the loser gets his head shaved boy... although WCW never took enough advantage with Mask VS Hair matches...

The Poison chick I think had her hair shaved off on PPV while she's strapped to a barber's chair screaming and shit.

 

It was all for nada however, since the GLOW fed popped out of the wrestling radar and from TV.

Seriously, 90% of those girls were very sexy and I think that's the only reason why I even cared about their hair being cut off.

 

It's a social thing, women have to keepp their looks at a decent standard - and women walking around the ring sans hair actually means something.

 

Example - point and laugh at the girl until she starts crying because she's a freak. That's only instinct, some shit I would never do

 

That means something with women and how conscientious they (and me) are of their looks.

 

Please believe it, who gives a fuck about Buff Bagwell shaving his head and wrestling like that. He can go out in public and not give a . . .  a . . . dam.

I can't believe no one mentions the best two hair-vs.-hair feuds of all time.  (1) Von Erichs vs. Adams/Hernandez ... led to the Dynamic Duo wearing masks for all those months, and then to Gino turning on Chris Adams and "blinding" him.  (2) Jimmy Valiant vs. Paul Jones' Army ... with the Bald Headed Geek chants.  Awesome stuff.

I liked the effect of the hair vs. hair match on Jarrett.  He really seemed to pick up his game and act like more of a convincing badass after that.  Maybe part of it was that he didn't look like such a pretty boy any more

My favorite is from All Japan Women, Manami Toyota vs. Toshiyo Yamada 8-15-92.  I don't have a least favorite, since that's the only one I've seen.
