Guest Nezbyte Report post Posted July 23, 2002 So, Jeff Hardy was the final WWF/E European Heavyweight champion, and, Rob Van Dam is the first ever WWF/E Euro-Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Report post Posted July 23, 2002 The question is how long before someone finds it in a garbage can and decides to declare themselves the champion. Hell, they did away with the Euro title before and it still came back, around the waist of Shane McMahon no less!
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted July 23, 2002 *cough* Spoiler thread, people.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted July 23, 2002 IMO, the Euro title has meant exactly dick since it's inception. The only time a Euro title match drew anybody was One Night Only PPV where HBK beat Bulldog for the belt. Other than that the Euro title has been just a piece of tin. Guest DrTom Report post Posted July 23, 2002 I think the best Euro title match ever was Shane McMahon vs X-Pac. And when the best match for a title involves a non-wrestler and X-Pac, then it's time for that belt to move on. Personally, I'd get rid of the Hardcore and Intercontinental titles too, and make Raw and Smackdown TV champions. I like the fact that they had a #1 contender's match for the IC title tonight, too. That should make it look more important in the eyes of the fans, and having RVD and Benoit fighting over it makes it that much better.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted July 23, 2002 RVD vs. Benoit... YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(And I don't think anyone is waiting till Friday for the few Englanders around here so they can talk about Raw, so maybe you could find a UK based board instead?) He took it from Shane's bag. It should have just stayed retired.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Calling the belt trash? Hey, lets take guesses as to who finds the Euro title in the garbage in a couple of weeks and starts defending it as something else? EDIT: CRAP..

Guest TheBlurricane Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Ewww he left a floater!!! Sorry I had to say that. I've been saying make all belt holders be on both shows for awhile. It makes more sense and now with useless titles like the Euro title gone it would work better.

(And I don't think anyone is waiting till Friday for the few Englanders around here so they can talk about Raw, so maybe you could find a UK based board instead?) EVERYONE in the UK who cares about wrestling and has the internet looks at the "spoilers". It's not like in the US where you can last a couple of days between SD being taped and airing, we have to wait the best part of a week! As for the Euro belt, I'm sorry it's gone, they should have moved it to SD and made it their version of the Intercontinental belt.
