Guest TheBlurricane Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Let me just say that move the Island Boys did where he threw Stasiak in the air and then samoan dropped him was awesome, but why are they on RAW? There's not Tag Titles on RAW! The problem with the tag division is all the good teams are on RAW: Island Boys Book Dust Benoit/Guerrero The New Dudleyz They need to either have the Tag Champs be on both shows or take the tag teams to Smackdown. Oh and on another note........ding dong the Euro title is dead!
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 23, 2002 it would be nice to see the Canadians vs Island Boys on Raw for a tag team title match

Guest DrTom Report post Posted July 23, 2002 How does one spoil a live show? The disclaimer against posting spoilers is to prevent taped shows like Smackdown being ruined for people who haven't read anything about it or didn't go to it live. If someone complains about having a live show "spoiled" for them, then I think they have some issues they need to address. Anyway, I don't mind the Island Boys showing up, but I *really* hate it when Jim Ross pretends not to know who people are. Even marks whose only internet wrestling experience is the safe shores of wwe.com read the Ross Report, in which he frequently mentions that he's the VP of Talent Relations. In fact, last week, he mentioned that the Island Boys would be called up soon. But he "doesn't know who they are?" Come on. It's one thing to try and kayfabe a surprise; it's another to insult the intelligence of your viewing audience.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 23, 2002 The problem with the tag division is all the good teams are on RAW: Island Boys Book Dust Benoit/Guerrero The New Dudleyz Island Boys: They just appeared so we don't know if they are on Raw or not yet. Booker T and Goldust: They aren't really a tag team and Booker is slowly getting a singles push. Beniot and Eddy Guerrero: They also aren't really a team and both look to be returning to singles pushes The New Dudleys: Buh Buh and Spike? Oh please...that's a terrible team. They shouldn't be referred to as a tag team. They are just as bad as all the thrown together at the last minute teams that WWeee likes using.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Island Boys: They just appeared so we don't know if they are on Raw or not yet They were brought out by Bischoff so I'd say it's a pretty good bet what show they are on.
Guest TheBlurricane Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Well take those teams I listed and add The Canadians, Hogan/Edge, and Billy and Chuck and that's the tag teams of the WWE right now so that's what we have to choose from. And how did I spoil anything? The show is over!

Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Maybe Team Canada will come to Raw with the tag titles. Bischoff was talking to them last week on Smackdown. I don't know how that feud would work though, seeing as how I'm guessing the Island Boys are going to be heels. I guess they'll just feud with the Hardys over and over again.
Guest TheBlurricane Report post Posted July 23, 2002 I was guessing by Jeff's single's push that the Hardyz were split up...that and WWE magazine had an article on Matt's future as a single's wrestler.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Well take those teams I listed and add The Canadians, Hogan/Edge, and Billy and Chuck and that's the tag teams of the WWE right now so that's what we have to choose from. Yeah that means WWeee currently has 3 decent teams including the Raw roster. They will have 4 teams until Edge and Hogan "break up" which probably won't be long, but like i said only 3 decent teams. WWeee needs tag teams but other then Island Boys Raw doesn't have any teams that would help unless they made the bad decision of making Beniot/Eddy a full time team. Val Venis and Randy Orton on Smackdown two weeks ago looked like they could be a decent tag team with a small amount of work. They looked like a team and with more work together could get some chemistry.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Well, The only beef I had was that they wore a tshirt. (less intimidating) Great debut but let's not get ahead of ourselves. BTW...Anyone know the Relations to Rock and Rikishi? Will that play a factor?
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Well, now that they've gone so far as to eliminate the Euro title, who knows...maybe they will make the tag titles floaters. Actually, making all the belts float between shows would really add to the 'competition' vibe of the shows they're going for now with the talent raids and the separate GMs. I mean, obviously you could leave the Hardcore and Cruiser belts on each show since each is geared for that...but to have IC, World, AND tag going back and forth would be great. Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 23, 2002 ...that and WWE magazine had an article on Matt's future as a single's wrestler. Matt Hardy has a future as a singles wrestler? Also, the Island Boys as Bischoff's enforcers is a pretty good role. I don't know what else could be done with them right now, on either show, unless there was a Team Samoa vs. Team Canada Smackdown! feud, but that was a joke more than a serious suggestion
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Well take those teams I listed and add The Canadians, Hogan/Edge, and Billy and Chuck and that's the tag teams of the WWE right now so that's what we have to choose from. And how did I spoil anything? The show is over! Will Hogan and Edge remain a tag team? Edge is wrestling Chris Jericho on Smackdown in a match Stephanie made last week. He may be returning to singles action. I think they were more of a way to transition the belts from Billy and Chuck to Storm and Christian.
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Rikishi sucks, and this Island boys look like they suck just like him, they remind me a lot like when the Headhunters showed up in the WWF back in 96,then they disappeared in matter of days.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted July 23, 2002 WOW, you can tell a team sucks by seeing them do 4 moves.
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Yup, I'm that damn good. And also it doesn't hurt having some HWA tapes either.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted July 23, 2002 I find it hard to believe that you saw these guys in HWA and think they aren't at least decent. I think they are better than that, but you would be hard pressed to think they suck after watching the blubber fly around the ring like cruisers.

Guest CHEAT TO WIN~! Report post Posted July 23, 2002 it would be nice to see the Canadians vs Island Boys on Raw for a tag team title match Don't jump the gun with this. They looked impressive in the 30 seconds we saw them last night... but so did Lesnar when he debuted. Now look at Brock. I say they end up being the Harris Boys of the WWE... Bischoff's personal henchmen.
Guest ryankeast Report post Posted July 23, 2002 They were in HWA I thought. They are on there website??? I liked the look of them, better than anything the WWE has got right now in the tag ranks (not saying much) ANYONE , Even Kronik are better than the Harris Bros.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted July 23, 2002 The guys are pretty good...just like Brock was...Lets just see how much they become WWE-ized...If they let them do the "fat-guys jumping around like Cruisers" moves they do, then they will look great. If they make them do some "hey, we're fat and stuff...we squash you!!" offense, then it will be less impressive. Plus, if they are teh Island Boys, they will probably suck...The Island BoyZ on the other hand...a good Z is all you need to make you "arguably one of the greatest tag-teams of all time". Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 23, 2002 I say they end up being the Harris Boys of the WWE... Bischoff's personal henchmen. well WWE seems big on nationality gimmicks, it just seems possible and rational in WWE logic. It would be very very very bad if the Island Boys just resemble another generic power team that the Harris Boys were. The Island Boys can fly!!!!!!!

Okay some people here are not getting it live then. You'd think if it were totally live that everyone would see it at the same time...it would just be different times to different time zones when it starts.
