Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Well after Nit...RAW, I think that even though I am not looking forward to the title match, there could be some others that could really steal the show. RVD/Beniot - Hopefully next week begins a good long fued between the two. Booker/Guerraro - Yeah I know there is no signs of it yet, but since Guerraro lost to the Rock, and Booker lost to Beniot, why not? HHH/HBK - HBK returns to the ring? Besides turning HHH heel, thats the only thing that makes sense. I guess SD! will show the future of storylines and angles leading up to SummerSlam I hope they put good effort in it like they did RAW
Guest TheBlurricane Report post Posted July 23, 2002 I think it will be something like this. Brock/Rock (pretty much done deal) HHH/HBK (yay two cripples fighting) RVD/Benoit for the IC Title (I can see this drag out a little) Jericho/Edge Storm & Christian/Rikishi & Valbowski for Tag Titles(not sure who else they'd put together) Hogan/Vince

I think that if that's some of the card, Summerslam will rock. Will have to see what happens.
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted July 23, 2002 i think it will be -brock/rock -edge/jericho OR edge/hogan/cena? vs. team canada. if edge/jericho i think hogan teams with someone to fight for tag titles -benoit/rvd -angle/rikishi - thats who hes been fighting on the house shows. it sucks, i know.... -rey/tajiri or rey/noble -hhh/shawn looks like a good card. and i will be there! Guest CHEAT TO WIN~! Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Probably RVD vs. Benoit in a.... LADDER match.
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Probably RVD vs. Benoit in a.... LADDER match. Well, Summerslam is like 4 weeks away, WWE will have exceeded its limit for "Shows Without Ladder Matches". It'll be almost mandatory. Personally, I think they should have them go 2/3 falls. Guest converge241 Report post Posted July 23, 2002 only "special feel" ppvs last two years: WMX7 WMX8 Invasion what i think SSlam will have: Rock-Brock Team Canada vs Dudleys (i think theyll make the tag belts both shows Edge -Jerico HHH - Michaels Hogan - Vince RVD-Eddy-Booker -Benoit for IC Cena - Angle (or maybe a heel Orton if hes healthy) Big Show - Taker maybe a six man cruiserweight contender match, to try and show up NWA-TNA and to spotlight Rey Misterio Jr.
Guest SteveyP93 Report post Posted July 23, 2002 If the WWE wants SummerSlam to rule, they just need to give Angle and Jericho two good workers to fight in the undercard...wasting Angle again on the second biggest show of the year like they did on the first would just be wrong. Just think, if both of them fought good opponents, they could logically both have *** to **** matches. Undercards with matches like that make ppvs.
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted July 23, 2002 It just seems like even if the Matches were all ****+ matches, the matches just aren't matches we're all clamoring to see, dsesperately wanting to see... and finally getting to see. Great matches are fine, but what makes wrestling special to most is the emotion and angles.
Guest SteveyP93 Report post Posted July 23, 2002 I think it would be pretty easy to put Angle and Jericho into matches that have emotional backstories.
