The word making the rounds is that Kanyon has suffered a shoulder injury. I don't know how severe it is at this time. He was just about ready to return to the active roster from his knee injury.

I think Kanyon is pretty good, so it is definitely unfortunate that he injured himself when he was so close to a comeback. But in terms of the show, he probably wouldn't make much of a dent anyway, so I can't really say I'm devastated.

Too bad. Reminds me of when Undertaker was set to return in a few weeks from his long put off groin injury. Tears his bicep working out and is out another 3 or 4 months. Shit happens, and Kanyon now can be built up with viginettes, etc like Rey Jr. The WWE said they like that idea, so why not do it for Kanyon with his extra time off.
