Guest Your Olympic Hero1 Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 This is one of my favorite movies of all time, and I don't understand why it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It NEEDS to be put on DVD. Also, I don't care what anyone says, it's funnier than Animal House: "Will you blow me where the Pampers is?" "What?" "Will you show me where the campus is?" Fucking classic shit
Guest J*ingus Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Droz: "Hi. Is Katy in there?" Womynist: "What's that supposed to mean?" HAHAHAHAHAHA, spot-on perfect.
Guest starvenger Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 It's definitely not the greatest movie ever, but it's a lot better than people made it out to be. I suppose that it's just one of those movies that work better on video...
Guest jimmy no nose Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 I liked it, not great or anything, but not bad. I'd probably rent the DVD and watch it a few times if it existed.
Guest razazteca Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 its not the greatest college party movie, but it did have a performance by George Clinton's band P-Funk
Guest JAxlMorrison Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 There is no way that PCU is even in the same league as Animal House. Animal House=hilariou script, true American Classic PCU= tired, repetitive jokes, 19 people have seen it, 8 liked it
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 Make that 9. I hate academia in general, and the stereotypes in that flick made me laugh.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 whenever i go to concers...i am "that guy"
Guest M Nyland Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 I have seen it....multiple times...and I enjoy it for the basic "frat humor" that is portrayed...
Guest Your Olympic Hero1 Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 I just found it on KaZaA Lite and am downloading it now. When I wake up in the morning, I'll have a movie to watch
Guest starvenger Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 whenever i go to concers...i am "that guy" But so are about half the audience. I think there's an exception to that rule: - if you buy the shirt at the concert, and then wear it, you are not That Guy.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 Great movie. A DVD is probably coming soon, since most places in my area (including the mall) sell PCU for like $5.99 VHS. "You're majoring in a 5000 year old dead language?"
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 "these...are the Causeheads....they find a life threatening world issue and they stick with it....for about a week..."
Guest converge241 Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 I watch it if its on cable , but there is lots of stuff that is just a labor to get through like all the people chasing the guy
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 whenever i go to concers...i am "that guy" But so are about half the audience. I think there's an exception to that rule: - if you buy the shirt at the concert, and then wear it, you are not That Guy. buy a shirt at a concert...thats like a 30 dollar deal anyway, i like when they are selling thesises to kids and one kid asked for ....."gym"
Guest Your Olympic Hero1 Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 Bantam: America's greatest president. Rand: It's me, Rand. Open up. Bantam: America's greatest president. Rand: Damn it. Who is Ronald Reagan? Bantam: A casual shoe for yachting. Rand: What are you trying to figure out, B.D.? Who could I be? What is a blucher? Bantam: They killed Jesus Christ. Rand: Who are the Jews? Open up, sucko.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 LOL -- That's my favorite part of the whole movie. David Spade played a great bratty Republican.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 PCU. The GREATEST MOVIE EVER. Well, ok, it's not. But it rules. And it's brought about the whole "PCU" theory of film - that any cast member of PCU can, in a supporting role, make a film at least 10 times better than it has any right to be. "Welcome to the 90's, Tomas - we no longer swill sherry and screw goats for fun anymore." LUNATIC - Pimpin' ho's and clockin' a grip like my name was Dolemite.
