Jim Neidhart and SummerSlam '97

Remember when the Hart Foundation made all those deals before SummerSlam 1997 and Jim Neidhart's was that if any member of the Hart Foundation lost he'd shave his goatee. Then he just disappeared and came back a few weeks after SummerSlam. I was just wondering, did he ask for some time off just so people would forget what he said and so he could keep his goatee?

I think he got in trouble, so he was taken off TV for a few weeks. I may be wrong.

I think Neidheart was having contract problems with the WWF so they kept him off tv but im not positive
