They refuse to assimilate, they don't learn the language, they ignore the culture, they denounce the very people who protect them as "degenerates" (ever heard of MAYA?), they continue to treat their women like slaves, and they publicly admit to plotting against Western civilisation because it's "evil." In almost every way, they're being perfectly faithful to their god and his precepts - far more faithful than all the so-called "moderate" Moslems. Do I hate evil causes and their adherents? Why on earth not?

 

The fact is you are not born with your religion like your sex, race and (maybe) or sexual oreintation you CHOOSE it just like you choose your political beliefs and morals. So quite frankly if Marney (or anyone else for that matter) wants to hate Moslems they so what. And let's face it with their hatred of all liberal attiudes and the muslim faith's totalitarion desire to contral the followers life (after Islam means submission) there's plenty to hate, just as there's plenty to hate in Christanity and Judaism.

As a quick note remember that Jews are a RACE not just a religion, anti-semitism is to do with racism not religious hatred.

 

On the actual case quite frankly I'm happy to see the guy starve, you cannot let people in custody dictate to you their conditions and the fact is there's only a few "heroes" die until they give in, just look at Bobby Sands and the IRA thugs (supported by our friends the SDLP, Eire and USA).

 

On the wider issue I always get a little queasy when Harbius Corpus gets suspended, espeacilly by a politican espeacilly someone like David Blunkett who is not only reactionary but incomptent and I would like to see all internments on say a rolling month mandate that has to be reviewed by a judical panel but apart from that I have no qualms with it.
