So who loved Friday the 13th for the original nintendo, although it was so impossible unless you had a game genie...

Scotsman, do us a favor and review Friday The 13th

I can't give you an honest opinion...cause I only played it through with a game genie...there was just no other way

If by "best" you mean "worst" then yes, I agree enthusiastically

El Hijo Del Lunatic takes the crackpipe away from thebear.

You'll get this back when you can prove you can handle it.

The only NES games I can think of that are worse than Friday the 13th are Deadly Towers and Total Recall.

Oh, I can think of quite a few NES games that were worse than Friday the 13th.  But the question is, why depress myself like that?

When I first rented a NES I chose to get 'Rampage' and 'Friday the 13th' with it.  It still amazes me that I still wanted a NES after a weekend with these games.

Both Friday the 13th and Rampage are games that I used to play with friends when I was a little kid, but once I fired them up in an emulator circa 2002...I felt really, really, stupid, like I wasted my childhood or something.

Rampage is simplistic to begin with and gets old quick, and the Nintendo version was particularly bland in gameplay and graphics when compared to the Master System version released at the same time or almost any other home translation of the game.

While Rampage is repetitive, it is fun to just keep playing, if only to destroy the state you live in (assuming of course you live in the U.S.).

Destroying your state is fun if you don't have to play for 5 hours to do it.  Example-  California and Nevada are the first two states on the NES version, but Louisiana (my home state)is about halfway through the game and, IIRC, some states in the northwest like Oregon are among the last in the game.

WHAT about PLATOON! THE only nintendo game to based on a best picture winner. (Yeah I know about Rocky for the sega master system but this is nintendo we are talking about)

Rampage was really fun when you played with someone else. I always played it with my brother. But by itself.....yeck.

I can think of a few bad NES games that are worse than Friday The 13th and they are

Yo Noid- an awful disgrace to one of the greatest video game companies ever and to pizza. The company is Capcom.

Hudson Hawk- this game was so bad the main character looked like a mixture of Joe Camel and a circus midget. Even worse, Nintendo Power had a contest for it.

Chubby Cherub-A really bad game where you play as horrible naked flying baby.

Tag Team Pro Wrestling- the absolute worst wrestling game ever hands down.

Anybody ever played Streets Of Rage 2 for the Sega Genesis? I downloaded it for my emulator. It is one of my favorite games. Can anybody link me to a site where I can get a Walkthrough and how I can acess the cheats for the game cuz I suck in emulators.

I haven't played Friday the 13th in years, but I got it for $1.87 in 1993 when a Caldor near me was going out of business.  Even though it bites the big one, it's good for one of those parties where you watch bad movies, play video games all night, and pass out on your friends lawn.

Also, I think that Friday the 13th the game had the most offense from camp counselors out of all of the movies combined.
