Texas Cloverleaf Sucka!

Someone needs to start using that regularly now that Stinko Malenko is on the shelf.

Crossface is #2 for me.

I chose crossface. Does anyone know what Edge put on Regal in their tag match at the last Raw? It looked really cool, I've never seen it before. I'll try and explain it if you think you might know what it was.

The begining was like a sharpshooter, with Edge's right leg going between Regals legs and to the left of Regal. Regals' left leg was then wrapped around Edge's right leg, so that Regal's ankle was just above Edges knee. Then Regal rolled onto his stomach and Edges dropped to one knee, and pulled back, using Regal's other leg as leverage.

That's how I think it went. You'd probably be better off watching Edge do it on Raw, as it was quick and I wasn't paying much attention, lol.

it was a reverse sharpshooter iirc.  at least i think thats what keith called it in his rant.  CANADIAN continuity!! the sharpshooter returns to canada for mania (well, in a bastardised form).

Canada Sucks and the Crossface rules. Dean "Stinko" Malenko invented it, and your fellow canadian, Chris Benoit stole it. THAT BASTARD.

Cloverleaf.  It's easy to apply, and hurts like hell.  Technically, if one didn't try to turn the opponent like a boston crab but simply rode high like a Walls (or at least, how a Walls should go), it's even cooler.

I do Love the Leg Locks and the Cross Face.. But for me as a Fan the STF just looks like one of the Most Painful holds around. So that is my vote.

The move that Edged is using for Submission Wins, Some one on 411 is calling the Figure four Edgelock.

I like the Crossface and the STF. I loved the Benoit/Jericho feud from late 2000 when Benoit was using an STF on occasion, and when he couldn't get that, he'd settle for the Crossface.

Okay, sorry, but I had to vote anklelock, but to clear the air, not Angle's version.  I'm sorry, I don't know if it's just him or what, but I hate the way he does it.  Give me Shamrock any day of the week.

Come on, you all know Bret Hart's sharpshooter is the best by far.  I like Val Venis's Porn Pretzel too.

Muta's inverted bridged double-chickenwing

Muta's bridged Indian deathlock 9also used by Triple H on occasion)

The STF

Lance Storm's single-leg crab

Little Guido's wakigatame (Fujiwara armbar - Maxx Payne did a neat Fujiwara too)

Chris Benoit's ultra-slick La Majistral into a jujigatame (cross armbreaker)

The Rock's sharpshooter (OK, I'm kidding with the last one)

Bret's Sharpshooter

Seriously, dont you think if the Rock was going to use it that often that he would learn how to do it right? Even I know how to do it right when i right my friends and brother etc., but when he does it it doesnt even look like its applied, hes just holding their legs up. He needs to work on that before he ruins the credibility of it.

I chose the figure four leglock because Ric Flair had numerous great matches for decades that revolved around this hold. How can anyone

not love Flair and the figure four? Wooooooo!

For some reason I like the figure-four.  Old school and all that.  Plus I like the setup of it.  Just looks cool.

Little Guido's : Fujiwara armbar

The million ways that guy puts that move on is simply a joy to watch.

I also went with the figure 4. Because it really hurts. Like seriously hurts. I mean really, really hurts. And I'm a flair mark.

Figure four just because, as said, it really hurts. I think the Walls is a bit of a joke personally, but thats just my opinion...

Cloverleaf, because it's quick to put on and it works on so many levels of the leg.

If the Fujiwara Amrbar was a choice, I'd have voted that.

First off, lemme just say that the Walls of Jericho & Boston Crab should not be the same choice. The Walls is suppose to be a High Angle Boston Crab, but it has been WWFized.

I vote for "other" because I am really fond of the Dragon Sleeper and the Nagata Lock I. I wish submission wrestling would become big in the states again.

I chose the Texas Cloverleaf.  Lance Storm should start using that instead of the Half-Crab.  As the crab isn't a believable submission move and the cloverleaf is.  They could even call it the "Canaidian Mapleleaf" and use the Half-Crab as a weardown move to set it up.

Look at my icon and tell me how could I vote for anything other the the S......T..........F!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In all honesty, I don't know why anyone in North America hasn't attempted to get this over as a finisher. I could just see this submission fitting HHH perfectly.

The best looking submission move is the Romero Special, well thats what I think it is called, it was used by Super Crazy in ECW.

The move looks like a reverse surfboard, then Super Crazy rolls the opponet to his knees about 3 times then puts him in the Dragon Sleeper.

I voted for the Crossface.  It seriously looks like it hurts, ESPECIALLY when Benoit yanks back on the head and screams like a madman...his opponent looks like he's going to run home crying for his momma.

The reverse Sharpshooter/figure-four thingy Edge used on Monday was awesome.  I tried to look through my Smackdown: JBI moveset for a close-looking variation.  Damn, I hope he starts using that more often.  Looks sweet, and looks like it hurts like hell too.

Rear Naked Choke.

A figure four hurts, but someone's gotta be seriously stupid to let you put it on them in a real fight.  Same goes for a Boston Crab.

Actually the boston crab is not that hard to put on someone in a fight.  If you get them on your stomach and your fast enough.  Then you grab there legs wrench up and sit on their back.  They will not get out of that.

Another is the cross-arm breaker.  I mean with all the UFC and Pride fighting im thinking they could get this over as a finisher.  There is many ways to put it on and it hurts like a bitch if done right.  And when you lay down the person applying it can really make it look painfull with their body movements.

I think UT really killed the credibility of the armbar (cross-armbreaker) in the WWF with his sloppy attempts at using it, as well as other submission holds.

My vote goes for the Romero Special.
