Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Report post Posted July 25, 2002 Ok Here's what I think they should do 1. Raw next Week RVD beats Beniot Clean in a close 10 Minuet Match. But the catch is Beniot Made RVD Tap to the Crossface but the ref was out. There for Beniot demands a rematch and gets one at Summerslam. 2. Summerslam Benoit Beats RVD Via Crossface in another close 15 minuet match. But there's another catch RVD had his Foot under the bottom rope but the ref didn't see it the next night RVD Demands a Rematch and Eric tells him he can have one if He can Beat The Big Show on Raw he gets his rematch. 3. Raw the night after Summerslam RVD beats Big Show Clean in a 5 minuet Squash after the match Beniot puts the boots to RVD and put's him in a Crossface making him Tap. 4. Raw One week after the Raw after Summerslam RVD gets his rematch with Beniot the only problam is Eric comes out and tells RVD that he said If RVD beat Big Show he would get a match against Beniot but he never said it would be for the IC Title. RVD Beats Beniot Clean in 10 Minuets. 5. Raw the week after RVD Gets to the arena and asks coach were Eric is Coach gives RVD the directions. RVD Enters Eric's Locker Room and Tells him that if he doesn't make an IC Title match with him and Beniot there will be hell to pay Eric makes the match for the Next PPV (not sure what PPV it is). 6. The PPV after Summerslam Beniot Beats RVD. During the match Both men hit some of the best moves but can't put the other man away RVD Hit's a Split Legged Moonsault but Chris kick's same happens for the 5 star. Beniot Locks in the crossface but RVD wont Tap out after about 2 minuets in the crossface RVD grabs the rope's. The finsh should be RVD has Beniot Beat with a Vandaminator but Eddy Breaks up the count . RVD goes after Eddy gets hung up on the ropes and falls back into Beniot's German Suplex with a bridge for the 3 after the match RVD gives Chris a Vanterminator to get his heat back. I think that would elevate both men also after that fued RVD Goes up to the Main Event and faces Brock for the title and Beniot somehow turns face and fueds with Eddy. so what do you guys think off that also who won the best out of 7 fued in WCW. Guest Goodear Report post Posted July 25, 2002 Here's what should happen: next week: Benoit kicks RVD's ass for 10 minutes, wins clean with the crossface. week after: Benoit kicks Bubba's ass for 10 minutes, wins clean with the crossface. 3 weeks: Benoit kicks Booker's ass for 10 minutes, wins clean with the crossface. 4 weeks: Benoit kicks Eddy's ass for 10 minutes, wins clean with the crossface. 5 weeks: Now the top bad-ass face on RAW, Benoit starts a main event feud with HHH or new champ Brock Lesnar. Here's the problems with that scenario... Benoit's not over. Beating people handedly won't get him over, because his matches have never been the problem with his reaction anyway. His personality is and always will be the hurdle Benoit needs to get over if he eevr wants to be the man to carry a company. And killer heel just isn't a good fit for Benoit while he's going to be matched up against the larger WWE roster. In my opinion, the only way you are ever going to get people to really care about him is to set him up in the face who's a little undersized but gets by on pure mean. Under my plan, he would be booked as getting beaten on a whole lot, but comes back to win simply because he's too determined to stay down. It's the easy formula that WCW used to get Benoit to his peak popularity and was the perfect way to book him. Oh, and making Booker and RVD get whupped by him for ten strait minuites certainly won't help them get more over, and if anything will hurt their heat. Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted July 25, 2002 I think Benoit was given up on as a main eventer a while ago. A lot has happened since he got hurt around KOTR 01. Sure, he was supposed to face Austin at some point when he returned. But is there any doubt that Benoit would have been jobbing there? Austin wasn't remotely going to elevate Benoit, he just wanted a good opponent to rebuild his sagging rep.
