Guest NSWOffice Posted February 20, 2002 Report Posted February 20, 2002 Hello My name is Bryan Wayne. Some may know me from my column at 1wrestling. I have a question to ask. If you were going to book a tag tournament featuring indy teams what would be your top ten teams invited. Feel free to email your thoughts. feel free to email me at [email protected]
Guest poopsicle316 Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 In no order: the SAT Backseat Boys Da Hit Squad FBI the Future the Rachies Ballard Brothers York & Matthews 3 Count (Moore and Karagias) Boogie Nights
Guest Zack Malibu Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 S.A.T. Chris Divine/Quiet Storm Backseat Boyz Evolution Westside Playaz Morgan/Modest Da Hit Squad Low Ki/American Dragon Island Boyz Conway/Dinsmore
Guest ulfistgut Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 I don't know of a lot of US indy teams, but you'd have to have a team representing the UK. I'd sugest FWA's new breed as they have a great blend of styles and many innovative double teams.
Guest Freak 5000 Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 The S.A.T.-No doubt...need these guys Backseat Boys-Ditto Da Hit Squad Nova + Frankie Kazarian FBI-These two had some great matches in ECW the Rachies-Two good workers Ballard Brothers-Great West Coast Team York & Matthews-Have to have them The Lost Boyz-NWA Wildside Island Boyz
Guest Spit Green Mist Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 Spanish Announce Team (Not a big fan of them, but a lot of fans like them for some reason, so they'd bring an audience) Da Hit Squad (Great team with a lot of charisma and mic skills, also probably the best brawling team on the northeast) The Briscoe Brothers (I'm surprised nobody mentioned them on their lists. I think they're one of the best on the indy scene today, and they're young too.) The Backseat Boyz (Great team, have it all) Shane Twins (Monsters from IPW down in florida... Both huge, and can move pretty good too. Would definitely have them on my card.) York and Matthews (Need I say anything about these guys? Good all around) FBI (Good team, with Mamaluke and Guido both being very technically sound.) Ballard Brothers (Never seen them in action, but have heard a lot about them, and I'd put them on by word of mouth) Chris Devine and Quiet Storm (Both are much better as singles wrestlers, but they're a good team nonetheless. I'd put them in the tournament) Siamond Diamond and Johnny Swinger... I'd bring them back as a tag team again for one night only. I always thought they were great in ECW as a team...
Guest yoshihiromwt Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 Guido & Mamaluke haven't teamed in a while; Mamaluke is teaming with fellow Malenko disciple Jeremy Lopez.
Guest Ferak 5000 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Shit. I knew I forgot a team. I knew I would forget one. DAMN! And I would rather see mammaluke and guido thatn lopez....ugh
Guest yoshihiromwt Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Ballards Lost Boys (Wildside, not UPW) Backseat Boys Suicidal Tendencies (Jacobs/Cross) Briscoes Maximos Divine Storm Future Shock (really underrated team from the new OMEGA & Wildside) Hit Squad Evolution (P.S.: I don't see what's the big deal about York & Matthews. They're by far the worst two guys that came out of the original OMEGA. Even the boring Hardys are better than Y & M.)
Guest Freak 5000 Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Minnesota Steching Crew hasn't been mentioned
Guest yoshihiromwt Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 MSC are probably broken up for good. Lesnar's touring the house show circuit with the WWF, and Benjamin is teaming with Jazz's hubby, Redd Dogg Begnard(sp).
Guest Freak 5000 Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 I forgot Overboyz! They should be on
