"National Documentary To Be Taped At Ring Of Honor Show This Saturday

 

PHILADELPHIA- The Travel Channel will be in attendance at this Saturday's Ring Of Honor show at the Murphy Recreation Center in South Philadelphia just five blocks from the ECW Arena and five minutes from I-95. The Travel Channel will do extensive taping both Friday at the RF Video/Ring Of Honor offices and Saturday at the ROH event. This will be a major part of a documentary the channel is working on that will cover the world of independent wrestling. The documentary will focus on Scoot Andrews, Xavier, Chris Daniels, Spanky and Low Ki. Behind the scenes footage will be taped in addition to production meetings and matches.

 

The first four ROH shows have all led to this Saturday as a ROH champion will be crowned!!! The first ROH champion will be determined in a 4-way, one hour ironman match pitting Doug Williams vs. Spanky vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Low Ki. Each participant will be awarded two points for each fall they win and be deducted one point for each fall they lose. The fighter with the most points at the end of 60 minutes will be champion. In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden death overtime.

 

Also signed for this Saturday night is the first ever NWA TNA X title match outside of NWA TNA's weekly Wednesday night PPV series as AJ Styles defends in an elimination three-way against longtime NWA Wildside rivals David Young and Adam Jacobs. Blood will flow in an old-school bunkhouse match pitting Homicide & Boogalou vs. Loc & Devito plus Jay Briscoe vs. James Maritato, Da Hit Squad vs. Divine Storm, Xavier vs. Scoot Andrews and Scoot has stated if he does not win he will not return to ROH, Tony Mamaluke vs. Jeremy Lopez, Paul London & Don Juan vs. Michael Shane & Bio-Hazard with the winner of the fall getting a ROH contract plus more with Brian XL, Prince Nana, The Christopher Street Connection with Allison Danger, Joey Matthews & Christian York with Alexis Laree and others.
