Jon Stewart or Craig Kilborn? Please judge Kilborn for what he did on Daily Show and not his CBS show.

Stewart has a better supporting cast and is more lay back comedy style, seems smarter with the fake news.

I hate Stewart, but he gets the nod. I never liked Kilborn either. Beth Littleford, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Mo Rocca, etc are the people who make the show funny.

I'd say Kilborn himself was funnier, but the overall show has been better since he left.

Stewart by a landslide. He has that Conan "I can make a badly written joke get a laugh with my own ad libs" O'Brien type of vibe going. Kilborn just kinda annoyed me.

I have yet to see Jon Stewart be funny ever.Kilborn would win by default on that alone.But I actually like Craig.The supporting group is what really makes the show.

Anyway, it's a close contest, but I like John Stewart better, although in a way I wish Craig Kilborn was still there because I never get to see his CBS show, because even if I somehow managed to stay up that late without being in front of a computer I'd rather watch Conan O'Brien anyway.

kilborn was way better suited for the show because he was such a dick. his delivery is just so acidic and condescending. his "i am so much better than you" attitude set the tone for the whole show, and they mercilessly made fun of EVERYBODY. it was beautiful. jon stewart is funny, but his style has watered the show down a lot & he's just...too nice, especially to his guests. now they don't make fun of who they're reporting on as much, & do more self-effacing or generally goofy humor. still funny, but not AS funny.

Yes Kilborn did make a joke about Owen Hart's death and that's why I will forever hate Craig Kilborn.

 

John Stewart hands down......the show seems to always be funny now. Maybe it's just me but I never found Kilborn that funny.

I used to watch it a lot more when Kilborne hosted the show and now I watch Kilborne's Late Late Show a lot more than Stewart's Daily Show, so that should cover my feelings.

John Stewart. He's hilarious, and to the guy who compared him to Conan

O'brian, that's a good comparison, and makes sense considering Conan is my favorite of the late night personalities (too bad he's on so late!). I can't stand Craig Kilborn, I don't think I've EVER found him funny.
