When buying tickets...

I'm looking to buy tickets for SummerSlam. For $50 you can sit in the Lower Level Restricted View section. Has anyone ever sat in the restricted view seats? If so was it hard to watch the show or no big deal? Thanks

Those seats tend to be at an angle so you can't look at the Tron.....so if the show you're at happens to have a lot of backstage skits or interviews....you're fucked.

The only good thing I see coming out of it is the fact you'll have the chance to get on TV.

As long as you know what you're getting. Twice I've been to WWE events (Smackdown and WMX8) and twice I've been fucked by getting seats at the highest level in my section. I was really disappointed, disappointed enough to really lessen my enjoyment of the show, as I had envisioned something much different the weeks leading up to the events. But if you know what to expect, then I guess it wouldn't be as bad.

I might be going to Summerslam too since I live on Long Island, but should I get the $25 seats -or- wait until Survivor Series at MSG and get tickets for that?

I went to SmackDown! once and sat in upper bowl. It sucked because these huge spotlights are right in your face. That's why I'm planning on buying the more expensive tickets, just so I don't get stuck up top.

I had upper level seats on RAW (night Shane bought WCW), and I had big, bright lights in my eyes for 3 hours. I should of brought a visor.

All of the seats on the lower level are usually pretty good. You can always see the ring and titantron clearly. As far as having a restricted view, I had a lower level restricted view seat and i'll be damned if it wasn't the best seat i've ever had. It was right on the side of the Titantron, and a lot of the times the wrestlers would come out and wave to the fans from behind the stage or you could see them talking to the road agents. At least that was my experience with them, your milage may vary. The absolute worst seats you can get are, believe it or not, on the floor. Anywhere beyond the first 5 or 6 rows, you won't be able to see shit. It's worse than being on the upper level.

Yeah, floor seats suck unless you have front row, cuz people in front don't know when to sit down. As for restricted view...In Philly, the Titantron videos/segments plays on the Jumbotron at the top of the arena also, so if you're in restricted view, you can always look up there. However, if you don't have a Jumbo Tron...sorry.

I know when I went to the Tool concert, "restricted viewing" were seats that were to the complete side of the stage so, you would have a tough time seeing the band, but I guess they figure you would get the idea of what was going by hearing the music and seeing the video screens......
