Well, it wasn't very deep water, and there were adults all over the place (we were young... he was probably around 5. I was probably 10) so he probably would have survived anyway, but I was the one who pulled him out of the water. That's the only thing I can think of

I ran out there and cut the collar off. But nothing with people.

Plus I untangled my oldest cat (who was a kitten at the time) from this ball of string she was playing with and somehow got wrapped around her neck... I avoided a turtle on a road and he made it to the other side...

I adopted 3 cats. Two were from PAWS/Vet office, but one came up to my back screen door last August thin as a rail. He's a fat bastard now...

How 'bout remaining the boyfriend of a completely insane woman for a while, baysitting her and keeping her alive, pulling her off a window ledge once and taking knives away from her regularly, and remaining her semi-loyal friend even the breakup? And when I say insane, I mean it, I actually got her sent to an institution once when I just couldn't deal with it anymore (not one of my more heroic moments).
